We're still waiting for summer.  This has been an usually wet, cool summer.

we really don't have a "fall" here....but I am looking forward to the season....as early Sept we will be going on an Alaskan cruise and then in October going to Lake Tahoe for a week....then Lake Arrowhead for another.....so we will see fall....but no color changing here.....

No, I'm one of those who really enjoys the Summer.  Nice weather, sleeping in, fresh local produce, etc.

Nope.  Not that I don't love fall - I do, and in western NY it's gorgeous.  But after a slow start this summer has been pretty nice and I could stand to have it hang around for a while longer!

Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen.

Fall is absolutely my favorite season.  I love everything about it:  the cooler weather, jeans and sweaters, crisp mornings, pumpkins, apples, and my wedding anniversary!!!!

I teach third grade and am starting to get the itch to go back to school.  I've already spent many days working in my classroom.  There is something about fall that just shouts "new beginnings".

It has been pitiful hasn't it?

And it's all my fault because I didn't have to work.  My poor plants never stood a chance.  The only thing that has done at all well is lettuce, pansies, and now my nasturiums.

I will be glad when it gets here.  I hate hot weather -- cold weather too.  I'm a spring/fall person.

I'll be back in the school kitchen drawing a paycheck, and I'll be back in the routine of working again which takes me a few weeks.

    Fall, blech. No

Everything dies, there are leaves to pick up ALL the time, heat to turn back on, early darkness, no more fresh produce from the garden, no more balmy days & nights, no bare feet....I could go on & on.  Then you're staring down the tube at the holidays, ready or not.  Then you have flu season, ice & snow storms, and all that MESS.

My ideal year would go from spring to summer to spring again!

I guarantee you on August 4 the weather will be beautiful and continue that way until the first snow.  LOL
