    RE: Randy Pausch

Just a note to ask for prayers for Randy Pausch. He is the professor from Carnegie Tech,in Pittsburgh, Pa who got so much attention from his last lecture - He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I have been following his blog, or website, and there were no posts for several weeks. I looked today, and one of his friends posted he is not doing well, the cancer has spread and he is now with hospice. Please pray for him and his family. He is a very inspiring man. His story is here.

Just finished his book a couple of weeks ago and it was a great read.  Sorry to read he's doing poorly now.

    Just say NO to B.O.

He has been very encouraging to me and many others, some dealing with cancer, but mostly dealing with life in general.  He is a great teacher and example, an inspiration to all.

Randy and his loved ones remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you jenbon for that info.  I didn't watch GMA this am.  I feel so sad for his family.  I don't know why, but his story really grabbed me.  He had such a wonderful attitude, and was trying so hard to fight this disease.  He loved his family so much, and contributed a wealth of knowledge to those who were his students at CMU.

My prayers are going out for Randy's family.   He certainly touched many people with his attitude and the way he lived the last months of his life.  What an inspiration.

I saw him on Oprah and was taken by how he loved life and people. Makes me want to be like him and enjoy life more. The angels are lucky to have him this morning,

Sad to hear of his passing ... maybe he's up in Heaven now interceding on humanity's behalf. We can use every bit of help we can get, and we are blessed to have had a happy spirit like Randy Pausch among us.
