Good Morning everyone it looks like another nice day coming our way. Coffee is ready and I am on my second cup better hurry if you want some. Sausage, eggs, and toast this morning. Finally sausage I don't like bacon it is like eating thin sliced leather. Flavor is good but you can chew it forever lol .

Good morning, MJ, and grannies to come.

Nice here, too, but always cool mornings.

I am ready for coffee and that breakfast. But, I will add bacon. Love it when it's crisp and crunchy.

Doctor's app't. later for Russell. But, I get the feeling it will be the same old diagnosis and he will just have to work thru the discomfort. BBL

    Good Morning Everyone ...

Oh, what a beautiful morning! The rain has stopped and the sun is shining high in the sky .... low 80's and cooler air.

MJ ... I love bacon but only if it is very crispy ... I always ask for it that way when we are eating out  but I've never been known to turn down sausage, either! Thanks for the big breakfast ... it will either give me energy or weigh me down! LOL

Read last night's posts about debit cards and checking. I have one debit card and I love it .... I just tuck my receipts in my checkbook after I make a purchase and deduct them right there or when I get home. When I get gas, I never have to set foot in the place to pay and the machine prints out your receipt for you. I also have my own checking and savings account aside from "our" account that DH and I have. Does anyone else do this?? We share everything but I like my "own" money to do with what I want. LOL

atv ... Hope Russell has some encouraging news at his Dr. visit. We're finally seeing some more comfortable weather here without the rain.

Debbie ...  Praying that soon your Dr. can adjust your meds to stable your condition. Sometimes it just means "tweaking" the meds or changing them to suit your body's needs. Hang in there ..... modern medicine is great and despite the anxiety it brings waiting ...... in no time things will start to fall into place. Keep that positive attitude and God will see you through this.

Gonna go  pour another cup of coffee and see who comes through the door.

Hi Nancy what same old diagnosis do you expect? My DH used to have gout but he had lots of leg problems also. Oh no bacon and I tried so hard to avoid bacon. Here set it on the table right here next to the sausage. Oh let me see I have a nice napkin to cover it up with to keep it warm she said wickedly. Out of sight out of mind.

Nice pictures of Frans back yard. I am not a good yard person fortunately doggie gifts can't be seen in pictures lol . Oh yes and when freshly cut my yard looks like grass but it is really weeds lots of weeds. If I used weed killer there would be no green .

Good Morning Ladies - My morning is getting away from me today - TGIF

I'll have some of that bacon - Good stuff and I don't care for the sausage - Some is good, depending on the seasoning-I prefer smoked sausage.

Kinda looks like rain, but I said that yesterday and it turned into a beautiful day.  What do I know???

    Have a good one.

Hi Jane ... Saw you fly in and out! Hope your day turns out sunny.

Stylist ... What a beautiful yard you have! So neat and tidy and just lovely. I see the little spot where you and DH have your coffee in the morning. What a great view of the  hummer feeders .... hope they come back often so you can enjoy them. Thanks to Fran for the pics.

Good morning Grannies. I smell coffee ! And sausage.  Sorry MJ have to turn down the offer of the sausage. I'm a bacon person. Sausage is one thing that gives me awful indigestion. Always has, even as a child. I also smell bacon. I think it is under the napkin over there. Could I have scrambled eggs?  Thanks !
I think if we got the same pictures the pics are of Stylist's backyard. Think I will go and look for Kasha's leftovers.  he he  he

ATV---Hope Dr. is able to help Russell with the discomfort.  DH had gout one time many years ago. He couldn't even walk. I felt so sorry for him. He has never been bothered again. knock on wood !  Oww ! That hurt !  Wish we lived a little closer. Have a pair of crutches, walker, and cane. You could take your pick.

Better get moving. Much to do today.    BBL

Good morning, yes! another nice sunny, low humidity day here too.

MJ  You're breakfast hits the spot.  Exactly what I want this a.m.

ATV  The waiting for the "thing" to get better is the hardest part sometimes.  I hope your DH gets some relief from the pain.  My DM always said,  "Oh, these golden years aren't always so golden."

MA  Yes! I also love the debit card and do what you do, tuck the receipts in my purse, come home and make the entry. I also have microsoft money and do the same there as it helps me to keep my checkbook in check.  Yes, own checkbook/savings but only because I had it with my business.  It's more "ours" now but I still hang on tightly.  LOL  DH has "our" checking acc't.  Did you get all that?

GREENBACK It's Friday!! TGIF.  What exciting plans do you have for the weekend?  Enjoy it whatever you do.

SUZI  You'll be looking beautiful after the hair salon.  Will it be breakfast out? that's where we're heading. That seems to be DH's favorite thing here.  And who am I to spoil it?  No Kasha do-do as we mowed and DH had already picked it up.  LOL

I think DH is ready to go and we'll need some groceries too.  BBL

Good morning Greenback.  Hope the rest of your day goes well. Take a deep breath and keep on.  No work tomorrow I  guess.

Fran---thanks for sending the pics along.

Stylist---Love seeing where you and the FM have coffee in the morning. Lovely yard. Who does all the yard work? See the hummer feeders and can imagine you sitting on the deck sipping coffee and watching the little dears. Thanks for the pics.

Now I really am getting up from here.

SUZI  I'm the one that takes care of the flowers etc.  DH mows and trims.  He hates to mow but he's a faithful guy and gets out there and does it.  However, he actually let me mow the backyard yesterday.  Miracle of miracles!!  TTYL

    Morning GramSuzzi and upcoming grannies

Hope you grab this message as I read you are leaving.  My, what early risers.  Getting ready for work took my bath and headed for the computer this am.  I like to be different once in a while Don't work to hard today

MJ  Good morning Tx for coffee  I will grab a cup (hope you sill have some) drink that and then I will head for your breakfast table.  Wow!  Everything looks very good & yummy.  Will have to make a big choice on the meat as I like them both.  Now that I think on it I will just take the sausage.  That was a quick decision for a change

ATVGRANNY  Greetings and I'm hear for a change.  Sometimes you wonder what you go to a Dr. for when they can't get the info you are looking for.  I am going with Marion & Larkin next Monday as Marion made an apptment for Larkin hoping we can clear up a slight situation he has. With Alzheimers he can not tell us what is wrong and we are constantly guessing so I told Marion she had better take him to Dr. and maybe he can clear it up?????????

MJODMA  It is going to be nice hear today too but I am afraid rather humid and I just hate the humid weather.  Am sitting in bathrobe and can feel the heat already.  Hopeyou don't mind this granny visiting in her bathrobe!

GREENBACK Hi You are just like me in & out this am.

STYLIST  Howdy and you are upand going alreadytoo.  Everybodyis way ahead of me.  I can get up in the morning but I would rather sleep in if I don't have any plans.  Big Laugh  when don't we have plans of some kind.  Christina has a camera that she can download pictures onto the computer and I am going to have to learn how to use it.  MJ  I will take that 2nd cup of coffee now and some breakfast also (hope there is some left because I am so slow)

    Re: Grannies Neighborhood 7/25/08

Good morning. Kind of a dreary morning here so far. The radar shows a small shower coming our way and it is actually raining right now. We can always use it this time of the year.

MJ I'm not sure which I like better sausage or bacon. Like eating the sausage but can't bet the smell of bacon first thing in the morning. So, I sort of like both. Our yard has a lot of weeds in it too but they are green so I don't care. I always say that what ever Albert doesn't kill he really ferterlizes cause the areas that he normally uses really grows fast when we get rain.

Nancy that's only one of joys of getting more mature. Just have to work through some things ourselves. Hope Russell feels better soon.

Ma I always use a credit card and so does Gary. Our checking account pays the house bills and I have a small checking accout that I call mine. Lately it seems he keeps finding places that don't take any cards so we have to use MY account cause it's the only one that I carry.

Jane hope your day turns out like yesterday. I don't know if you need the rain or not but it sure is welcome here. Like you said TGIF.

Suzi be careful when you lift that napkin. MJ may have set a trap.

Stylist your back yard looks so nice. Just need to have Kasha sitting on a chair letting us know that it really was her back yard and she just lets you keep it looking nice.

Fran thanks for sending Stylist's pictures. They came through great. I don't know what is different I used to gets the pictures just fine now they are come in so BIG.

Suppose I had better go and do my walk. Not sure what the rush is today. It's so wet out right now that there is nothing to do out there.

Hope everyone had a great day.

STYLIST  I don't mow the yard.  I have 3 guys around here that can do it so I let them.  We have a riding mower and a walking one so I figure they can help out.  Oh, how the time flies when you are having fun  and alas I must get going, dress, fix my hair and be out the door.  Have a good day whatever you do  and GOD BLESS and keep all you grannies safe.
