Christmas - in July - I shudder to think about it! LOL

So far so good, I have 3 things bought for each child. Money set aside for our mini holiday trip 12-26 thru 12-30. I am ordering things as I see them and putting them up in the attic. Once the crazy shoppers come out in Nov. I will be finished.

STOP IT RIGHT NOW or you'll spend the day on the naughty step!!!!

July isn't even over with! It's way too early for such talk! I don't even think about beginning to make holiday plans until after Thanksgiving and it isn't until Nov. 27th, ask me about my plans on the 26th. I don't even want to hear about Christmas until at least Dec. 15th, but I promise not to growl if you wait until AFTER THANKSGIVNG before mentioning it again! :)

I didn't know exactly how close it is.  I usually start shopping the beginning of August, but I have a big trip planned Aug 13 -27.  I have a rough idea what I want to buy, but it will have to wait until the end of September for me to get started.  DD's birthday is November 28, so I have to take care of that too.  Thanks, I guess, for the reminder.

I've got a start on a few things for my grandkids. But first I have to take care of  4 September birthdays and 2 November birthdays, one of them also being on the 28th. Thankfully, I'm done shopping for DGD's August birthday. 

Bobswife, I had the same idea this morning!  I am copying some crafty gift ideas out of Gooseberry Christmas #9 I requested from the library to get a jump on ideas.  I love the fall and winter and the holidays especially.  I laughed when I sa you post...I drive my MIL nuts (she goes all out for Christmas at her house, too) by reminding her how many weeks we have once we get past Labor Day! 

Truth to tell, I'm quite surprised that most of you have already done some shopping.  Wow!  and Kudos to you.  I only thought I was organzied but y'all take the prize!

Oh, and Footsie???  It's a deal.

I have to add I did buy some nicely decorated Christmas ornaments at a garage sale I thought my DD would like.

Funny that this is being brought up -- I just ordered some gifts from Signals yesterday and got the LTD Christmas catalog yesterday as well.  All ready making a list of what I might get from there too. 

Usually I don't shop until the first of November but figured what the heck -- what's the problem with more crap stuffed in closets?

 Okay, if you've already got ideas, or already bought for them...what have you got them, that they don't need in the meantime, or won't get before then?

I can't even consider gifts before the beginning of December.... I'd be at the returns, and fighting the 30 day return rule beforeChristmas even arrived!

I knew it was going to be a great day when I woke up this morning, Sue, and now you just confirmed that feeling for me!

I'm gonna go grab some more chalk and a ball so we can play 2-Square.  Do you have a pebble we can toss?  We could play Hopscotch too!
