Good morning BJ and all to follow. Just sitting here having some much needed java before work.  Tonight I need to sit and do bills and then out to fertilize flower beds.

Tomorrow we are canning more pickles and I need to do something with these two large zucchini sitting in the kitchen. 

Kind of overcast skies right now but hoping the sun will peek through at some point today.

BeeJ ~ I was hoping you would feel better today.

I have all my mowing done ~ DSIL is going to pick up DH’S new smoker so I can get everything cleaned and packed ~ it should be fun, if you like spooky! Lol I told DH if we were going I wanted to go and the ghost tour sounds pretty neat. I need to move. *waving to all*

I have peaches ready and my pie dough chilling in the refrigerator for a cobbler.  I don't like the biscuit dough kind of cobbler. I use pie crust. The peaches we bought are huge and sooooo sweet.

BJ, are you feeling any better? I hope so.

Just the usual Friday business here today, lunch, grocery getting & bill paying. DH had to work at 4 this am. I wasn’t so happy about that! Need to go take on the city today. Since our street is most of the way finished in the construction they are dumping street signs in piles in front of my house it looks absolutely terrible. The 1 man I spoke to told me to take them 7 sell them for scrap steel. Can you imagine?!

BJ  ~ Glad you are feeling some better. It is tough being sick, especially when it lingers on for so long. Staying in might be a good thing. I know when it is so hot it bothers my breathing.

Sharon ~ Glad you finally got a diagnosis. Sorry it was not a more positive one. My mom also has degenerative disc disease in her back so I understand what you are going through. Mom has had it for years. When DS was 3 months old Mom was changing his diaper and when she picked him up off the bed her back went out on her. DS only weighed 15 lbs. but she was bent at just the right angle and the strain was just enough to get her.

I made 4 loaves Amish Bread and spaghetti sauce yesterday. The sauce was mighty tasty if I may brag on myself. I have already made 2 loaves Banana-Nut Bread this morning. It is cooling as we speak. Need to go to the bank for DH and DS. I just need to talk my rear into getting in gear.

    Hardy – har – har, BeeJ You’re just a hoot this morning….enjoy my ghost ~ I’ll just pick one up for you! Any particular one you have in mine? Early B-day present, how about THAT!

Bailey, yum....cobbler. My favorite during the summer. Save a piece for me.  DH is golfing today so I'll have plenty to keep me busy while he's gone and still be cool inside. Have a great day.

Debbie, for absolute sure I'm going to the post office today. Heat or not. It will be this morning because when I take my last pill after lunch I'll be too sleepy to drive. LOL.
