Black Forest Pie
One 6 oz ready-made chocolate cookie crumb pie crust
1 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup strong coffee
3 Tbsp butter
1 can cherry pie filling
Directions:
Combine chips, cream, coffee, and butter in a bowl and melt using low heat over a double boiler or in the microwave, stirring regularly. Pour into pie crust. Refrigerate for about 2 hours.
Pour cherry pie filling over the chocolate layer and refrigerate for an additional 2 hours. May garnish with whipped cream before serving.
