Over cooked the cookies and they are crisp and hard rather than soft and moist. Just place the cookies in an air tight container with one slice of bread. Cookies will absorb moisture from bread. You will find to your surprise later..........bread is rock hard and cookies are nice and soft. For quicker results use two slices of bread. Works wonders.........school lunch room worker told me and I have used the solution many times.
