We are under a storm watch here...until early in the morn. Just got in from eating and going to Sams Club..  DH made it home by 1:30 or so.. good for a Friday..

DH came home from work and wanted to make a Subway run, so I didn't have to cook tonight.

DS just got in from work about 15 minutes ago so I will go visit with him while he eats his sub.

I want to ask you all to rememer my SIL. She popped her hip (her good one) out of place yesterday and her DH had to take her to the chiro today to get it put back in place. He has her in a back brace as well and she can only get up to for bathroom trips for the entire weekend.

I didn't have to cook tonight either. DH went next door to a pot luck but I would just be sitting there hacking up a lung so I opted not to go. Hope they feed him well. LOL.

We have thunderstorm warnings but nothing so far and the sun is out.

Had a nice lunch today but didn't end up going to pick berries.  We were both too full.  LOL  I will go tomorrow morning instead.  Weather was absolutely perfect here today.  It has made up for the last few days of downpours and thunderstorms.

Finished up those pickles and have admired my jars.  May have to make Sharon's dill pickles as I have more cukes coming on strong.  That may be a day next week.  First I am determined to make jam.  Maybe if I say it enough I will finally get er done!  LOL

BJ...I`m glad you got a chuckle out of it. I love the T-Shirt saying also....It was fun and I enjoyed sending it to you. I wish I could have found you the butterscotch but no such luck  When you do make the recipe let me know what you think. I have never made it or seen a recipe for it until you mentioned it.

I`m swear I`m going to finish that book tonight so I`m out of here.

I'm so glad you had such a good day and a nice anniversary.

You'll make jam, I just know it. I wish I still could. But you'll enjoy those pickles and Sharon's also. I don't have alot of cucumbers yet but I don't think I'll have enough to make pickles either.

I'm still waiting for tomatoes. We've had 2 and DH gobbles them up before I can even get a taste.
