    BB etiquette.. Am I being rude????

    I;m acually really new to the whole BB thing.  I just got my computer in February...  I really like to go in and read all the posts people put up but sometimes I don't know how to reply...so I don't.  Is it rude to read through threads and not post anything...  I get such a kick out of some of them and I don't think I'm that funny so I just read and don't reply...Embarrassed

    Nothing wrong with that Jmarie!  You don't have to be funny, either.  Jump in when you feel like it and not when you don't.  I lurked for a  long time before I started to post.

     I don't see anything rude about reading without replying.  But if you do have something to add, please don't feel shy to join in.

    I read alot and reply to a few...no harm, no foul. (or is that fowl???  depends on if I'm a chicken or not I guess...)

    If everyone replied to every thread, we'd be scrolling day and night.  Jump in when and where you want.  Read and lurk all you want.  You're not rude.

    My DD (aka kidlet) lurks all the time! She loves reading the threads, but she's shy...certainly didn't get that from me! LOL!

     Jmarie,

    Keep your eyes open. You'll see plenty of arguing and back biting. I just chose to SOB (scroll on by) those things.

    I remember being VERY confused the first time I saw SOB!
