WOW!! They just put the Mayor of Detroit in Jail

He was ordered NOT to leave the country with out 48 hour notice. He went across to Windsor and was sent to jail.

This Mayor is unreal!

Hmmm finally a politician who isn't above the law.

Refreshing....isn't it!

Why?  Of what crime is he accused?

Is this the same mayor who had a girlfriend on the side and used tax-payers money on her and a load of other things he did - and lied through his teeth!?

Interesting.  I mean, I don't care who the mayor of Detroit has sex with, but if he was denying the relationship as a way to conceal retaliatory firings, then that is a matter for public concern.

A couple of weeks ago someone was trying to deliver a subpeona.  The individual attempted to deliver it at the home of the mayor's sister.  The mayor happened to be there and he shoved/pushed the individual.  He also made racial remarks about how the individual was accompanied by someone whose last name was "White".

 I think they are close to charging him with assault for that incident.  It just seems to be one thing after another with him.  :-(

 

Yes he's our Skanky mayor allright! But the idiots in Detroit keep voting him in because their stupid. This guy cost the city of Detroit 8 Million dollars, when two long time, good standing police officers got fired because they knew to much about the mayor's mistress, and a stripper who got murdered after leaving the mayors house party.( After his wife tried to beat her up with a baseball bat). They sued and won the 8 million. He lied on the stand, his mistress lied on the stand and now their both up for perjury. One surprise the mistress found out she wasn't the only one he was texing on city phones, he had other women he was doing at the same time. Lol. He was told not to leave the city, but hey he's the mayor he can do what ever he wants to do. Now his butt's in jail and I give the judge credit and he has my concern, he may end up in a dumpster somewhere, from one of Kwame's henchmen, like the stripper.

Oh yes, and his mom just won a re-election by the skin of her teeth back to Congress, Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick. The city is has such a bad reputation that it may turn Michigan from a blue state to a red state. John Conyers wife is just as nuts as the mayor and she's on the city council, we have no money in this state, no new ideas, and a govenor who can not make a decision about anything unless she appoints a team.

You said it all birdseye! I can't believe this guy wasn't put in jail long ago, back when he bought that SUV for his wife by using city money! He is such a liar and keeps getting just a slap on the hand. It's about time a judge is taking a stand.

Well, the saga continues today. Wonder if they will charge him with assault of a police officer? Bet the first thing he did in jail was put everything he owns (thanks to the funds from Detroit) into his wife's name.

Sadly it's being watched all over the world. Detroit won't be called Hockey town now.Sad what one man can do to a whole city

What a surprise.....not!! They let him out! Charged him with two counts of assault and a 50K bond. Putting a tether on him.

(WXYZ) August 8 - Attorney General Mike Cox has announced new criminal charges against Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick. He is charged with 2 felony counts of assaulting or obstructing an officer.

The charges stem from an incident on the porch of Mayor Kilpatrick's sister Ayanna. During that incident, Kilpatrick is accused of assaulting a Wayne County Prosecutor's office investigator who was trying to serve a subpoena on the mayor's friend, Bobby Ferguson.

Each felony count brings up to 2 years in prison or a fine of $2,000.

The mayor already faces pergury and obstruction of justice charges stemming from his testimony in the whistleblower lawsuit.

Mayor Kilpatrick was put in jail Thursday for violating his bond. Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Thomas Jackson released  Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick from jail Friday on a $50,000 cash bond. He also said the mayor cannot travel and must wear a tether that does not allow him to leave the tri-county area.

Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick is expected to be arraigned on felony assault charges either later Friday or early Saturday. An arrest warrant has been issued.

Attorney General Mike Cox announced the charges a short time ago.  He says Michigan State Police officers are expected to pick the Mayor up at the Wayne County Jail, where he is currently being processed for release after spending the night in jail.

The saga goes on and on......  What an embarassment for Detroit.

 

Hey what about Marsha Conyers, Congressman.John Conyers wife. She was screaming at Ken Cockrel Jr. because he wanted the mayor ousted  a few months ago and she didn't. He's president of the Detroit City Council, She's Pro Tem council & they started arguing and she  kept screaming Shrek, Shrek, (he's bald) laughing at him and putting him down. Making a complete fool of herself. When Mitch Album a local newsman/sports caster/ DJ got hold of the tape of her screaming at that meeting, he played it every day on his show. Making not only herself, but her husband who is trying to impeach Bush look even more like and incompedent A$$. He needs to get his butt home and take control of his woman!

We need to get the FBI in here witha big broom and get rid of all of them and see how much $$$ has been ripped off from the peoples republic of Detroit, then appoint someone from outside to instal law & Order in this town. Our govenor is just as bad, she's in bed with all the unions, so she just looks the other way. Hey Canada take her back Please!
