I'm almost afraid to tell you this...but I feel compelled!

I may shout it from the roof top before the day is over!  I feel SO WONDERFUL today and pain free for the first time in weeks!  My sciatic nerve was about to push me over the edge and last night I slept pain free and felt so rested when I woke up this morning and I just feel so good...nothing hurts me today!  I'm still going to keep my appointment with my Doctor on the 14 th of this month. Just encase it comes back, I'll be better equipped to deal with it!  I have such a history of back problems and sometimes I have horrible flare ups with it.  This episode was especially horrendous!

Hi Molly.. So happy to hear you are finally getting some relief from your pain. My baby sis has this problem too and it is very debilitating. Hope you find many days of comfort now.

Tootie.. So sorry to hear that Gary is suffering this too.. And, aren't you so right!! Some days it seems every bone in my body is rebelling and telling me I am gonna hate 80.

Anyone want a migraine? I have had way too many of them recently and am getting pretty tired of the agony.

Molly I had no idea what you were going through.  Have you had treatments for the nerve pain, meds or what??

And besides I always find you in good spirits ...... and I mean that!

    Renee ~

When I was only 25 years old and had three little boys in diapers ( a little guy not yet two and twin boys!) to care for I ruptured my disk between the 4th and 5th lumbar.  I was in constant pain!  Then it would get a little better and the cycle just continued on until a year later I was in really bad shape and had surgery.  I had a horrible recovery and after that I would get really down in the back for no apparent reason...it would just come and go.  I actually slept in traction for a full year.  Over the years I have learned to live it with it.  I now have a condition refereed to as spinal stenosis.  I have to be careful what I do...not too much of anyone activity, but a constant variety of walking, laying flat, sitting, so  forth and so on.  I have pretty much learned how to live with it, but ever so often it just gets turns ugly and then poof...It feels better!  This little bout lasted for several weeks.
