    ISO Shredded Turkey Sandwich Recipe

I would like a really good recipe for shredded turkey with a creamy sauce for sandwiches. No Tomato sauce.

I need something for a party that can be prepared or served from a slow cooker. I would like to use a boneless turkey breast.

I don't really have a recipe. I just stir in undiluted cream of celery soup and some crushed up ritz or town house crackers. Sometimes I add a little chicken broth depending on how moist you want it. I have also used stove top stuffing mix with a combination of soup and chicken broth. Both are good. I usually start the heating process in the microwave then put it in the crockpot to finish.

Hot Turkey 3 T butter 1 cup chopped onion 1 1/2 cups chopped celery Saute celery and onion in butter until soft. 6 cups cooked chopped or shredded turkey 1 can of cream of mushroom soup 1 cup of Miracle Whip 3 cups Velveeta in small chunks Mix all together in a big bowl and then transfer to crock pot sprayed with no stick spray. I cook it on low until it is nice and hot stirring once or twice to get the Velveeta evenly mixed in. We make this for family parties quite often and everyone really likes it.
