Those who think the world is divided into two groups of people, and those who don't!

I once had a boyfriend who agreed with me on everything.  After a week I was bored out of my skull, and went back to chasing guys who were interestingly different.  So that's part one of my theory:  Same is boring.

Part two is that it is useful.  If mommy is a morning person and daddy is a night person, then it's more likely someone will be up and functioning when the baby cries.  Or in my household, I can get some me time in the morning without feeling like I'm ignoring him, and he can play nasty shoot-em-up video games after I go to bed.

How about the confused group and the not confused group?

Are you talking about here at the board or at home?

Renee, I was following on the thread of morning grumps or happy? I have noticed amongst friends, the lark always gets together with the owl!  and yes, opposites do attract...but it's not easy being godzillas 'grannie in the morning (like me) married to mr. full of beans at the crack of dawn (whenever that is!!) ..he can;t half get on my nerves! he is awake, happy, wtaching the news, drinking his coffee....bright eyed and bushy tailed.....

LOL, I don't know but I think there are fewer of us happy bouncers. I know all of my friends are sluggish in the morning, even my family members take a while to get moving. (Except for my dad, he's like me, or I'm like him lol)

    Yes, I know I am a btch.
I have been a btch all my life. I am good at it.
It takes very little effort on my part, and I am used to it. Applying the same reasoning to you, I cannot understand your offense at being called stupid.

I'm not much of a morning person and I need to have my coffee to get rolling.  In fact I know it's going to be a bad day when my boss has a cup of coffee waiting for me!

    Okay, I follow now.

DH is a morning person and he's learned that I'm not real talkative first thing in the AM.  When my MIL stayed with us...I just kept to the bedroom for as long as I could because I knew she was going to be full of questions the second I stepped my foot out the door.

    What flower is that?
Why does that neighbor do this or that?
Why does the dog bark at the fence?
How come you did this or that?

Oh my...she did go on, so I had to prep myself in the solitude of my bedroom until I got my head on straight!!!

DH says the early, early mornings are lovely....I'll take his word for it!!!!

Oh, but they are, Renee.  In that first clear light before the sun is actually up there's no glare.  The colors are soft and slightly tinted toward the blue-violet part o the spectrum.  There are no dogs barking, and few if any cars zooming by.  There's no wind.  Dew sparkles on the grass.  It's like the world is new.

    LOL--oy vey, you and DH!!

In that first clear light of the moon rising up, there's no glare.  The colors are soft and the stars twinkle in the almost ebony sky.  The crickets & frog chorus in agreement.  There are no dogs barking, but the growl of an occasional bear might zoom by.  There's normally no wind--it's like the world is waiting to start it's new day.
