Autumn,

I think it's great that you knit. Something we have in common! I'm not going to tell you which shawl I will make. I'll let that be my secret to you. Ha ha ha!!!!

Each Christmas I usually do differant colors. This year I believe I will do the red, green, the bright blue. I want to use a lot of color to dazzle the boys eyes. This year I think it will mean a lot to my 2nd to the youngest being 3. He is a little more aware. One thing though I would like you to know, we don't do the Santa Clause thing. I don't mind using ginger bread men, snow men for decorations. But I am real big on the nativity. We really focus on the religious aspect of the holiday season.

It is getting more exciting the closer we get to the day that we reveal who we are.

I got your Halloween pakge today. WOW you have really outdone yourself, but I must admit it gave me the lift I really needed...... I ave been under a BIT OF STRESS.

Get ready to be jealous everyone. I found a box of pumpkin lights to string outside!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are going up tomorrow.

Halloween napkins and paper plates, does this mean I get to have a party? I will have one if you promise to come Willie!

 A cute yard site that looks like a pumpkin and says treats, also for the yard a pumpkin windsock and a pumpkin door panel.

To decorate lil ole me she sent a pumpkin tshirt, the cutest halloween socks with a black cat on them and a pair of pumpkins earrings. OH, my favorie lip shimmer by Burts Bees in Merlot........I really needed this too.

To decorate my DH he got a FL Marlins baseball cap!

To decorate my letters I received some cute Halloween sticker, for my cans I gor 2 soda can covers ( which we never have enough of).

To see if I could look like a pumpkin (HAHA) she sent some M&Ms in single serve bags and a personal fav....mellowcreme pumpkins.

To round out the pumpkin theme I got a cute pumpkin card with a nice note.

    It's me again you'll never guess what I received in today's mail from you. It was a package with a really cute card on front was a cat hugging a pillow and also of TOH fast fixes with Mixes cookbook. I think this one might be that missing cookbook you sent as it had a couple notices on it. Book recipes look delicious. I know that I'll be using this one quite a bit.Thanks again.

What a wonderful birthday package I received today from my secret sister Lizzy!

Here is what she sent me:

A cotton pouch with package with 3 chap sticks and Bath and Body Rain Kissed Leaves shower gel and body spray in it

2 very pretty necklaces, one is a heart shaped and the other is a long necklace with different colored stones on it...very pretty!

A pretty hanging box that matches the wall hook with a package of adorable M&M note cards in it.

A kitchen towel with a rooster on it

A box of Canterbury Naturals Pumpkin Cake Mix

A package of paper muffin liners

And a 6 cup muffin pan.

Lizzy, I can't begin to thank you enough for such a wonderful birthday gift...you really do make me feel so special.  I didn't really do anything special on my birthday...I received a beautiful floral arrangement at work that day from my husband.  He had to work a double that day so  we are going out to dinner with some friends on Saturday for my birthday.  It is actually my 4th anniversary today, Friday...Jim said he wants to take me out to dinner after work and he also wanted to take me to the new Richard Gere movie that I want to see but since I have to work 3rd shift he said we will go over the weekend .  Once again, thank you so much!

Thank you so much for the sweet card. Thank you for always thinking of me. That is so sweet of you. I was with my mother yesterday and I took her the Butterfly Wind Chime. She loves it and she immediately hung it on her floor lamp it was perfect for that. She said for me to tell you thank you so much for thinking of her. She said that was so sweet of your Secret Sister to think of me.

Thank you for putting a smile on her face with her favorite thing butterflies!!!!

Also I wanted to mention just in case you had read my thank you before I realized that I had left out an item that was in the box. I edited the post and added the spreader that I had left out.

My DH thought the salt and pepper set with the tray was so cute and so perfect for Fall.

We are enoying the wonderful candy too from See's one of our Favorite Candy Stores.

Course I love  chocolate covered marshmallows thank you for sending one of my very favorite candies.:):):)

My dear Sweet Tweety - Well what can I possibly say after the card I just opened from you? I am quite literally sitting here LMBO!! Seriously!! You are one sneaky and clever Sister!!!      I  need to thank my SS Rose for 2 beautiful cards  -- 1 l just got and one that must have come when my dad was here. He was so sick all the time he was here that l wasen't opening mail it just got put in a pile. So sorry but thank you so much . Hes back home now he went to ER room while he was here but wouldn't stay -- they gave him meds to get him home till he could get to his own Dr. Hes doing much better now and every days a blessing.

      l do so look forward to your cards and appreciate them very much. As to canning l'm finishing up applesauce my DGS calls it grammas famous applesauce lol and everytime he comes he has to get a jar. l've got my dads done working on some for here so he has a supply. Then all l have left is Candy Apple jelly and to freeze squash and l'll be done canning.Then l have to load dads all up and deliver it to Tenn. He tells me all the time how much he enjoys it so it makes it worth every bit of work.  I get to visit Zaiahsgramma on the way as shes my sister and she cans things for him too. so l get to see her for a few days also.

Thank you SS for the lovely postcard you sent with the pictures of the Great Barrier Reef.  I really like the picture of the starfish-I've seen starfish in the ocean before, but never such a bright red one!  It sounds like you had a lot of fun in the glass bottom boat when you went there.  I would love to go there someday!

SS, I recieved your card, with recipes for Pumpkin bars and Raspberry Muffins--- darn can your neigbor be my neighbor too..... I sure love raspberries. ------ and muffins...... and guess what my DH went grocery shopping and bought 2 cans of pumpkin and a thing of cream chease!!!

 OH...... and then I also got your nifty package....... thank you so much for sending me those lip balms, perfect flavors by the way.... and I never can find my finger nail file.... but I will now when I put the key chain file on my keys. And the socks...... oh they are so cute...... I do not have any holiday socks. And I will wear my pumpkin ones with my orange BOO shirt tomorrow when we go out to the mall. 

And Dear Sister, you are so kind in thinking of me, you have not dissapointed me at all. ...... it seams every time I think its been a while, a card shows up...... I love your recipes too.

Hey I am not sure what kind of 3D bee your daughter had to make, but if it was more creative than percise, I would have used pom poms. The thing about pom poms though is you really need to use hot glue and then its not really the "kids" project..... except my 7 year old (who will be 80 -- I mean 8 next week)  thinks she can use the cool melt glue gun any time she wants.... and for the most part she can.

I recieved the Woman's Day magazine in the mail today and I LOVE the Halloween ideas. The Bag of Bone cookies are something I put on my list to make this coming week. I love meringue type cookies plus I think my son will get a kick out of them. LOL

I have looked all over for the Big Thread from SusieP and I cant find it..........I am wondering if it's started yet so I will watch out for it and reply to your questions.

Thank you so much for your letter, you know I think I know who you are then I read something and go hhummmmmmmmmmmmm, then I question myself. LOL I guess thats a good thing isnt it?
