I got your package in the mail last night! The recipes you sent look good-thanks for writing them out for me.   The white chocolate mocha mixes look really good- I like starbucks too and sometimes I would order the white chocolate mocha.  Now I like getting the fat free almond mocha, but they are discontinuing the almond flavor so sometimes I have to get hazelnut.  I really love coffee, sorry to hear there's no starbucks in your town.  The little memo pads are very cute, and the mask caught my attention at first, lol.  I will use it, I like that sort of thing.    And I put the new bookmark into the book I'm reading now- I really love it-it is so pretty, and I remember that part of that Bible verse was read at my wedding.  Also, thanks for the rubons- I have never seen these before!!  Neat!!  I haven't decided what to use them on yet-maybe some I can work into the scrapbook.  Also, thank you for the foot soak! Tuesdays are our late nights- we have to be at school (which is a 45-60 minute drive away from home) from 9:30 am until 10:30 at night-last night when I got home and opened the package my feet needed that soak! 

Dance classes are going fine, we are working on something for Christmas now. This year we'll march in the Christmas parade again and they will do a short performance at church and then we'll all go see the Nutcracker ballet.  It is a busy season, but always fun!  My little sister likes stuffed animals-those Webkinz that some of the SSs have talked about sometimes.  She is 13 now and she is in my dance class.  My brothers, 14 and 10, are good little brothers- the older one likes video games and computers and going out fishing with DH.  My younger brother likes veggie tales (do you know what they are?) and some tv show called Dr. Who.  That is all he wants to talk about!  They do like animals too, especially my sister, and they got a new kitten, that is the brother of my new kitten recently. 

I hope you had a good time at your church anniversary celebration-that's neat that you have a Brazilian congregation meeting at your church.  At mine we have a Vietnamese congregation that is part of our church and meets there.  I actually just found out today that a new pastor has been found for my church, and I will get to meet him on Saturday.  I hope that he will be right for our church.

It's not cold here yet, today it rained, so it was mild, but still warmer than most other states.  I am ready for it to be cold though! 

It was so wonderful to hear from you, I just can't wait until we can really talk!

China

I got home from work and saw something by the mailbox.  Did not know what.  When I checked my messages, there was one from the flower shop.  What was left by the mailbox was a beautiful bouquet of lovely fall flowers, with leaves, a ghost, and other fall decorations.  It was beautiful.  Thank you so very much, Maggie May.  The gift made my day.

I just love the little frog and I will find him a place of honor to hang. 

The Campbell's Slow Cooker Recipes look really good. I like to get everthing together at night so all I have to do in the morning is turn it on. I like the way they are all on tear-out recipe cards. That is so nice. I will have to let my DGS look at some of them. They like to cook too.

I got a package from my Sister today! Thanks, Sis!!

Inside my package was a new Address Book!! YEAH!! I lost my address book about two years ago... I keep thinking that I'm going to find it, so I haven't replaced it yet. She's so funny (I love your sense of humor!) she included a card that told me:

"I wanted to be the first one to put my name and address in your new address book so... look under the letter "S"

NATURALLY, I turned to "S" (although, I was already chuckling because I knew it couldn't be her REAL name & address) on the "S" page I found... a sticky note that read:

Isn't that adorable? I really cracked up.

The envelope that the card came in (I noticed how thick it was, and I peeked BEFORE I took the card out) also had two oval 'post-it' type pads with pretty flower designs.

Thanks so much, Sis!! I'll wait to fill the address book until I can put your name in it, Ok?

Thank-You Sister Rose for thinking of me!!! Last night I received a very "interesting" envelope full of snapshots of license plates from various states... possibly one of them hers............hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm or maybe not.... You sure are keeping me guessing. Thank you also for the cute handmade card.. I love it!!!

My father is from Tennesse. He is in Ethridge TN. Beautiful out there. He has 40 acres straight up hill!!!! He tells me when he dies he will leave it to me. What am I going to do with a hillside? Goats raising I imagine!lol

Oh boy another fat envelope arrived for me - with a lovely letter and some great recipes.  Every single one of them sounds good - but I'm itching to do the pecan bites.

It was such a thrill to receive mail - and II enjoyed reading your letter.  Thanks Gidget, you made my day.

Hello there Miss Lollipop Lady.  I received a post card from you yesterday.  But right not that is all I can say about it.  LOL!!!!!  You see, when my daughter brought in the mail I was making dinner and didn't want it to get messed up so I smiled when I saw who it was from and then "put it up somewhere so it was safe" -- and then... I have forgotten where it is safe at...I will find it when I go home though and post my proper thank you.  I know it's in my kitchen...where is the question.

BUT thank you just the same for thinking of me.  You always make me smile!

The card is beautiful!  Amazing how God uses color!

I have to laugh!  It got here for free!  It had a postage due thing on it and they delivered it anyway!  I felt guilty, so I put it in the box for the mail lady.

I found the postcard from my SS I had put in a safe place (on top of the refridgerator).  Oddly, it is from Superstition Mountain....hmmmmmmm.....it looks like my SS and Rochell's SS are travelling together?  Weird coincidence or something else????? I wonder....

Anyhow I do think the fall colors there are beautiful too.  Acutally, after seeing the movie, years ago, "Boys on the Side", I have always thought Arizona would be a nice place to visit. 

Rochelle, there was no postage on mine either -- I had to check after reading your post, but I it does have a bar code where the postage goes so I think that it might be a prepaid card that doesn't need stamps.  Not that that is relevant to my post, but another coincidence that bears mentioning......hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
