The Room Room November 8th 2008

Good morning!!
It's 5am been up since 4:22?? LOL
Sorry I didn't mean to say I was crazy & run away!! I'm repainting my kitchen!! LOL since the last time when the paint color got muck up!! I'm doing Sherwin Williams Simplify Beige!
Ended up doing the ceiling yesterday than went to Joker's & got a few things on eBay for him. Got home made shrimp scampi yummm Than I was sorting laundry. Than the hallway toilet wouldn't stop running tried adjusting that all in one piece thingy?? No luck so guess I have to go buy a new one!!

Good morning rosies! I'm baaack, like a bad habit you just can't get rid of, LOL. Considering my extended MIA status, I know I can't possibly even hope to catch up on everyone, so love and hugs from Fluffyville will have to suffice! (Computer issues have been running amok here, among other things.)

I have to tell you, I am seriously, truly, enjoying my state of unemployment - yep, I really do mean that. I feel better, happier, than I have in literally YEARS. Each day, I feel a little more happiness creeping into me, like a long lost friend that you'd forgotten about suddenly popping back into your life. Yeah, there are still all kinds of "toxic family" issues (oh that's the understatement of the year), but that's just life (at least MY life anyway). All I can say about that is, some days are better than others. And it's been a little "interesting" to discover just how toxic my JOB was, and how much it's damaged me. I've come close a few times to sending them a thank you note for shoving my fluffy butt out the door. 

Well, just wanted to share a brief update, and say hi to everyone... lots of love and fluffy hugs to everybody!

Just spent 3 hours working in the yard still cleaning the flower beds.

         We actually slept in till 8:30...boy is that late for us, but it felt so good. We sat outside and read the paper and had coffee...it was only 55* and the cooler air feels so fresh and clean!!!

Fluffy, what a wonderful surprise to see you drop in...I am so glad to hear that you are happy...I knew that job was toxic for you! You just  don't realize what physical damage a job can do to you until you are actually away from it!!!

Please stop in more!!!!

No big plans for today...may take Lily to the dog park later, I also want to shampoo the family room carpet!

I never did go to that new store yesterday with my neighbor...she called and said she had an offer on her house so she needed to stay close to the phone..I said it was fine, and decided we could go together next week...I really don't need anything!!!

Good Morning Ladies - Need to make this a quick fly by-my morning is getting away from me. Firrst I  slept until 9:00 and then while I was reading the paper a guy I use to work with called with a auestion-kind of a senseless one at tbat, and 45 min. later I finially got him off the line. Drank a half a pot of coffee talking to him - or I should say listening to him!

Now, I need to get cracking - First stop is the store - want to make some stuff for next weeks busy one - no carrots or onions, so will do that first.  THen need to bake something, we always have treats for the ladies while they are decorating their trees, so will do something and put in the freezer, so I'm ready. 

Last night, I took a gal on the foundation and her DH out for fish at a different place than we usually go  -different town and in a different direction - Get kinda set in going one place. This was excellent too and  had some different things on their salad bar-guess we all have our specialties.  I had forgotten that this place always has deviled eggs on theirs.]

Maizey, you'd be cold and wet working in your garden here.  We had snow yesterday and this morning - Not staying- Thanks the Heavens for that!

It is all about a fresh warm cinnamon roll out of the oven.  Then headed to a bazaar, and the laundramat.   My sinuses are killing me.  Am all stuffed up so will have to get some sinus tablets also.

Maryann, I feel for you on th sinus bit. I have chronic sinusitis too. I have had 3 surgeries, still have to take medicine everyday. I am going to a craft fair today too. Wish I had the cinnamon roll. lol

My dh's b-day present hasn't arrived. But...he snooped into our account on line and found out where I ordered his gift from. Now he knows!!! I bought a green house for him. It is not a large one, just 6' x8'. But big enough for our family. I am so glad he really likes it. We haven't had a vacation in 3 years or done much of anything together. I told him, I hoped it would be a place where love would grow! He liked that idea too. Not that we are having major problems, we have just neglected our relationship due to lifes circumstances. It's easy to let life steal your time.

At least this will be something we can do together and even with the boys. They both love to be outdoors. I purchased seed from an heirloom seed company for our spring planting. Those were my christmas gift from dh. We have an acre of land and I intend to cover it with garden goodies.

I also purchased a compost ball. The 3 year old can't wait to learn how to make dirt!!! lol

My sinuses have been acting up since we had all that miserable smoke from all the wildfires we had in June and July.  There we a lot of chemicals in the smoke as well as marijuana from fields the Mexican Mafia were growing.   The smoke was horrible and caused major problems for me.  I did not make it to the laundramat today, but did make it to the bazaar.  I got a coupe of items for my Secret Sister at church.  

Lynn I hope you had a good day.  We are getting rain tonight and was foggy most of the day.   That does not help the sinuses either.  I am going to take a good hot bath and curl up in bed.
