Summer, About the Seat You Said You Saw...

Yo Krissy -- Is that Bob's 3rd Row Seat I see???  Big Smile  I suspected he parked his vehicle inside the house somewhere.  Now I know.

Only an Eagle-Eyed Goat would catch such a minor detail! Wink

    Happy Sunday to you~~~

    Krissy

    MINOR detail?!?!

That seat takes up the entire right side of the picture!  Surprise

Don't worry....I'm sure he'll put it back in the Semi when the weather warms up in the spring.  It really is better inside the house for now.  I wouldn't touch it if I were you.  You know how men can be about these things.

But I have to, Summer.  It won't stay clean on it's own, you know! Wink

Seriously though, that chair is exquisite to sit upon.  One's bones simply melt into the leather.  And the Dog likes it, too!

Oh the chair!  I was talking about the larger 3-seater in the other picture.

Here -- Bob needs Santy to put some of this in his stocking along with the coal:

    Oh My, oops.

    Embarrassed

As for the product you mentioned, it's called Hide Food?!?

    Confused

    Idea!

Eureka!  I get it...food for the HIDE.  Yes

I'm willing to bet I can't just order a container of that thar Hide Food from Amazon.

Swell...now I've got to go to the darn Bentley dealer.  It just never ends. Confused

Seriously though, how wonderful does that stuff work?  I bet it has a heavenly aroma as well?!?

Krissy, it should have come with your Bentley....  See if the chauffeur put it in the glove compartment or maybe gave it to the butler.  If not, then you can get it at a dealership that sells British cars.  I made them throw that & some leather cleaner in the deal when I bought my car, but now I'm on my second jar of it, for which I had to cough up my own bux.

It's odd stuff.  It tends to separate, so you have to stir it constantly while you're using it.  It looks like it has lanolin or something similar in it.  It doesn't have the kind of aroma that Glade is going to make into a candle any time soon, but it's not bad, either.  It makes the car smell like leather again.

I used it on my tan seats with no problem, so I then had the Idea to use it on DH's black seats.  Well...white cream schmeared on a black seat....what an obvious mess all those swirls made.  I thought for sure I'd be in the dog house if I couldn't get it all off.  Then I got a phone call so I went into the house & forgot about the Hide Cream for about half an hour.  When I got back outside, it had ALL sunk into the leather & had disappeared!  Cool

I use it when the weather's warm & the leather's warm -- it sinks in better.  And gosh -- it leaves your hands nice & soft, too!  Yes

Except I bought it a` la carte, without all the wipes & stuff.  I use clean white flannel that I buy on sale at Joann's Fabrics and wash/cut up for the cars.   Automobile

That worked out rather well I'd say! Yes

It would almost have to contain lanolin to maintain the suppleness of the hide, me thinks.  Surprise

Given the condition of my hands, perhaps I'll purchase some of it just to make my hands look less like that of a Migrant Worker. Tongue Tied

Speaking of purchasing stuff...have you ever tried the W&S Popcorn Lover's Gift Set?  I picked up a few for little Christmas Gifts and I already got into one.  Don't know that they will end up being gifts afterall. Embarrassed

Now just how did you know I would be asking for more 411 about that?!?

Thanks, Summer!  I appreciate the links. Yes

BTW...how is Mr. Summer's MatchBox Car doing these days?  I'd presume it is safely in storage until the Spring?!? Huh?

No, haven't tried the WS popcorn.  I have a bag of John Cope's (?) that I need to try out when DS is home.  I found a stovetop Whirley Pop pan at the thrift store earlier this year, and I want to try that with the popcorn.

I haven't been to WS in ages.  They stopped sending me their catalog.  Well sorry.....there's only a certain number of places a girl can shop before she owns everything!  Big Smile   I only have one thing on my Want List right now, a pastry roller.

Parked at the end of the bed with an afghan over it.  He sits in it every now & then & goes, "Vroom!" Stick out tongue
