Just a quick stop - Dr. visit went well - nothing hideously wrong w/ me - but mycells are showing an abnormality. I have to monitor my cycle for the next month, take mega-vitamins and if I start bleeding again before I'm supposed to call ASAP. I will be scheduled for an ablation next month, providing my insurance will cover it. Didn't see the Dr. - saw a N/MW - who happens to be a friend of mine.

Tonight is the Princesses Christmas Pagent at school. CM and I are going and we plan on NOT sitting next to N-a-P. Neither one of us is feeling up to dealing w/ him tonight. Then its back to the house for dinner.

    I'll check in tomorrow!

Ginny- I'm sure the pageant went amazing! I hope the drama was kept to a minimum for you, dear.

My, oh my you all have been busy! It seems my crowning achievements of late have been reminding myself to breathe! Hugs to all! I've got a busy day tomorrow...wrapping up the last of the neverending Christmas shopping and hopefully sneak-cleaning the house as a precursor to the holidays. I haven't even thought about candy and goodies yet. That was my task for tomorrow. And everyone's recipes sound so yummy! How am I to decide?

I got my last set of modeling pictures back and I love them! (see profile pic) the photographer was amazing and spent a lot of time being patient. Of course, I also stood knee-deep in a frozen pond for the same photographer. Talk about chilly toes! But the pictures were worth it :-)

Hugs to all! I'm gonna go catch a few z's

     Night!

Many wishes for a blessed day!

    Good morning.

Ginny hope things went well last night and you are feeling better.

Beth you sound busy. How long did you have to stay in that position? Can't imagine being bent like that.

Going to WW just to keep motivated. Our leader has gone on a trip. I don't know what her son does, but it has something to do with the Jonas brothers and it is not in the states. She should have a great time. We are going to have a just trained leader today.

Hi to everyone and those that live where there is ice be safe out there.

Jus a quick hi!! I"m feeling better...still a little run down. We got a bunch of snow yesterday, a break today and a huge ice/snow storm coming tomorrow. Fun.

LOVED the Biggest Loser results last night! Eat that Vicky!! LOL!!  She wasn't my favorite!

Oh and I had my first Pampered Chef shows this last weekend...they went pretty good.  I don't think I'll be on Food Network anytime soon but you know give me a couple of months!

     Happy Wednesday~!!

Beth - good to see you! Love the picture :-)  Hmmmm, I'm thinking you aren't busy enough... LOL!!! Hope you have some time to enjoy the holidays ((((hugs)))

Jen - glad you are feeling better. Woohoo on the PC party! We'll look for your show in the spring Big Smile  Stay warm & safe w/ this weather!!

Muril - hope Miss Nancy's results come back ok.  It's good she enjoyed the chicken nuggets, but I"m like you - I shudder at that kind of thing.  Sometimes I wonder if my system could even handle the fried chicken anymore, I always get grilled if we go somewhere like that (or a salad).

Dusta - hope you can lower your ww goal weight.  How is your mom doing?

Ginny - bet the Princesses were beautiful :-)  ((((hugs)))) w/ the TOM stuff. It will be nice when you can get some resolution to this :-\

Hi Jet, Debi, Michele, Pammie, Jolene, and everyone!

well - I braved the post office yesterday. Went at 3:30 and I was 2nd in line :-)  woohoo!!!!!  I hit that just right LOL!!!  I have to go again today, think I can get lucky twice?!?!? Hmm

had a weird day yesterday - the vet called me and asked if I wanted a cat. Apparently the owner decided s/he couldn't be bothered anymore & brought the cat in for euthenization. If you want to get my blood boiling, this kind of thing will do it. People like that should be banned for life from ever owning a pet again (sorry - I'm passionate about this kind of thing). It wasn't because of finanical hardhip, allergies or anything like that. It was simply s/he was tired of having a cat in the house. Super Angry   So the vet made a few calls to certain clients (I felt honored my name was on the list) and found a home :-) The cat is 6 y/o and a little love bug. I'm so happy!!

also got a call from the insurance company - I don't know if ya'll remember but they covered our new doors under a claim we had on our roof. Well - we overpaid the contractor & State Farm is sending us a check! Woohoo!!!! Gotta love that.

see? Yesterday was just weird LOL!!!

I'm baking cookies tonight for daycare & I'll give them their goodie bag tomorrow. DH is home today but had a lot of errands to run so I brought  Samantha to daycare for the morning. Then dh is taking her to see Santa :-)   Not sure what's for dinner tonight- I"ve got a veggie pizza and a chicken sandwich on the menu, not sure what we'll have a taste for tonight.

hope everyone has a great day!!!

    Good Morning!

Just a quick stop - work is busy today. We have to gather information for a national survey. It's a pain in the butt.

Last night went well - N-a-P was in a snit but what the hay! CM had a good time - he saw some friends that he hadn't seen in quite a while. I think that it bothered N-a-P that CM was comfortable in an environment that N-a-P isn't. The Princesses were quite cute and the whole program lasted approx 40 minutes.

We are having our Christmas lunch for work today - we are going out to a fabulous restaurant. It should be fun!

Don't have time to reply to everyone but I want to tell you that you are all in my thoughts and prayers!

I don't know about ya'll, but it's been a long day here. Feels like it's never going to end!!

talked to dh & he wants the veggie pizza tonight so we'll have that. I think I've posted it before, but I will again for anyone interested.

    Sauceless Veggie Pizza

(from TOH years ago, not sure what the original recipe is any more since I've done my own thing with it over time!)

1 ready-to-bake crust (can use your own homemade dough or a can of pilsbury crust)

2 small or 1 medium sized Zucchini or Squash, sliced thin

1/2 of a Red Onion, sliced thin & rings separated

    3-4 Plum Tomatoes, sliced thin

1 pkg. Fresh Mushrooms, sliced or slice them yourself

    2-3 tbsp. Dried Basil

Black Pepper - fresh ground is best

1-1/2 to 2 c. shredded Mozzarella Cheese, divided

spread dough onto a greased 10x15 baking sheet. Bake at 400 for 10-15 minutes or until it starts to get crunchy & turn golden.

Remove  crust from oven & place on a wooden board (to save your counter top). Sprinkle about 1/2 cup of cheese over crust. Top crust with zucchini slices, onion, tomato & mushrooms. Sprinkle with basil & black pepper. Top with remaining cheese.

Bake at 400 for 15-25 minutes or until cheese is melted & crust is golden. Remove from oven & let sit 5-10 minutes before cutting

**note - the veggies hold a lot of water so the crust can get soggy. I've found that if I bake the crust longer at first, it helps. Also, it does firm up if  you let it stand after baking.

Hi Ginny!   *snicker* at NAP. Ha!  I'm so glad he's getting a bit of karma. He expects you to be ok with his girlfriend but he can't handle you having another guy. Serves him right Big Smile

    Good Afternoon Healthy Ones!

I had a busy morning- did a short pilate workout and headed off to the PO to mail some packages and our family C'mas cards. I mailed the HL ones yesterday. I had the other ones with me but noticed that I had not put any return address labels on them. Grrr, so added them last night. That's what happens when you address envelopes while watching tv late at night. :) I also went to Sam's today and took the fish back and bought some (hopefully good ) fish and other goodies. I bought a Cheesecake factory tuxedo cheesecake to save for C'mas Eve. Like we need another delectable dessert. lol DH and I had lunch at IHOPs and I had the sw fajita chicken salad. I didn't eat it all.

Ginny, Glad your condition is not really serious. Our mens. cycles just keep on giving and giving. :( Pam did well with the ablation and I am sure you will too. Glad the pagent was great and also glad N a P was not happy. I am so bad. lol Have fun tonight! :)

Beth, nice flexible picture! I can tell you love yoga! Good job on keeping in shape! Good idea. I need to put a pilate pic of me on my atavar. :)

Dusta, Maybe the new leader won't be a nit picky one like the regular one! How did the meeting go?

Jen, Glad you are on the mend. Hope you don't get more bad weather. We have been blessed with just rain so far. :)

Dawn,Oooh, a new cat and it will bond with Miss Samantha and they will learn to love each other. :) Bet it may even be protective of her, wouldn't that be great? Yeah on the rebate because of the insurance overpayment. That is great! Mmm, thanks for the recipe!

I have choir/dance practice this evening, so better get some laundry done....never ending story! :) Have a healthy day All!

Dawn I don't want to lower my goal weight, just want to be 4 to 5 lbs below what they gave me. Glad you were able to rescue the cat and he/she has a good home. What is it's name? I love cats, but don't have any now.

Muril the sub WW leader was nice. Not a thing was mentioned about below goal. I did weigh just to see. Didn't pull off any of the things I usually take off, wore heavy pair of jeans and weighed 2 lbs more than last week. That is what I wanted, to show a gain, just a little, so it won't look like I am too much below. I don't think our regular leader wants to change her goal either, she looks good.

oh you guys can you all just come and give me a hug??!! I don't know if it's the winter blues (which I've never had before) or if I'm depressed or what but I'm at the end of my rope! I'm constantly on the verge of tears, it's all I can do to make myself get out of bed in the morning...I hate it cause it's not like me to be this way! And I don't know what to do about it or how to fix it. I'm just so ready for this year to be over.

Re: H L Topic of Week 12/15-11/21: Keeping Up with Exercise During the Holidays

((((((jen)))))))  it's hard to go through a cycle like that. You've had a lot happen in your life this year, good & bad. To a point, this is perfectly normal. If it hangs on longer than you're comfortable, see your doctor or talk to someone. That helps a lot.  I've been to my therapist so often over the last 8 years I think I've paid for her kids and any future grandkids college tuition... But sometimes that's the only thing that helps me.

Muril & Dusta - I re-read my post & it does sound like I took the cat.I'm sorry!  Shadow, the cat, went home to another client the vet contacted, not us. We would have if no one else did. Not quite ready for another cat in the house but sometimes it's not about that LOL!!!

((Jen)) so sorry you are down and like Dawn said you have had a lot going on. Besides what has been going on, when you live in a part of the country where you don't get very much sun it can cause some depression, exercise a little might help. Sending you a big  hug.

Dawn anyway the cat got a home. When I lived in the country people dumped cats and dogs off a lot, more kittens. I kept all the kittens, aand some of the dogs.

Re: H L Topic of Week 12/15-11/21: Keeping Up with Exercise During the Holidays

    Good Morning!

We had a good practice last night and it looks like it is coming together. The dress rehearsal is Saturday morning and the program on Sunday and then I can relax and not practice for a while and concentrate on C'mas. :)

Dusta, glad the leader was not snirpickity. :) You deserve to relax and not worry about a WW leader getting on your case. :) How is the shopping coming along? Did you find the blanket that your DGD wanted?

(((Jen))), sorry about your mood change. :( Yuck. Sounds like your hormones are so out of whack- you probably left a few in bed yesterday morning. It is an emotional time for you Girl so try to relax as much as possible and it's ok to be sad for a while and just let it out- then make sure you are around a lot of friends to hug and comfort you. Like Dawn says, if it persists and doesn't go away - a trip to the Dr. is in order for your mood levels. I will email my phone # to you and you can call me anytime. :)

Oops, Dawn, I thought you got the furbaby. :) Oh well, it got a good home and that is what counts. Miss Nancy's daughter that lives in FLA has a couple of cats(and dogs) and the last cat she got was because of a phone call from a vet. :) BTW, the sauceless pizza looks fabulous. DH and I picked up a pizza from Dominos for supper last night and I really need to eat well today to make up for eating out yesterday for lunch and then pizza for supper- especially with C'mas and all the goodies that temp us. :)

Hi Jet! Hope your day is going well.

Off for some coffee and then I need to decide what all I need to get done today. I need to get some shopping done and lots more. :)

    Have a wonderful day!
