    REC & PIC: Hanky Panky

I have had this recipe for a long time and do make it for dinner sometimes as requested by my family but it is a great appetizer.

    Hanky Panky

    1 pd. ground beef
    1 pd. sausage
    1 pd. Velvetta cheese-cubed
    1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. garlic salt
2 loaves small squares party rye bread

Brown ground beef and sausage and drain. Add cheese, worcestershire, oregano and garlic salt and heat until cheese is melted.

Spoon meat on to bread and use the broiler or toaster oven until crispy.

Yum! I've had this as an appetizer before but it had a different name- of course I can't think of what it was. I could definitely make a meal out of this stuff. Great idea!

One of my friends makes this and uses english muffins instead of rye bread.  She then freezes them.  Nice to pull out for a quick breakfast.  Don't remember what she called hers but wasn't hanky panky.  I'll have to try it w/the rye - would make a good appetizer.  Tks!

I’m always on the hunt for new to me, easy appetizers. This sounds easy and good. Thank you.
