Wild Mushroom Dip
2 c dry white wine such as Chardonnay
2 5 oz containers dried wild mushrooms, mixed variety (find in the produce section)
2 8oz pkgs cream cheese, cut in 1" cubes
2 10 3/4 oz cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 c shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp dried tarragon
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
In
a microwave-safe bowl heat white wine on HIGH for 3-5 minutes. Place

With

In a
large bowl combine the pureed mushrooms, 2/3 c reserved mushroom liquid
and remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly and pour into a 4 quart slow
cooker.
Cover and cook on LOW for 3-4 hours, stirring once halfway through. Makes 12 servings.
Serve with crackers, party rye or melba toast.
Recipe may be halved.
