    Improving Recipe Box

I would love to have a better way to browse my recipe box, not just search for a specific ingredient, but see many of the recipe names more quickly. Anyone else bothered by that? I have saved many recipes in there from several of the publications and newsletters, etc. I don't actually use it nearly as much as I would if I could just scroll the recipes looking for something that appealed. Also don't know if this is where I should put this suggestion to get action/attention!!

Yes I agree. I have saved a lot of recipes in my recipe box but I have found it hard to find specfic recipes when I start to search.

I would also like to know if there is a way to change the way the recipe pages are here. I just wanted to browse through the recipes and when I wanted to stop and then go back later I had to go about 5 pages at a time at the bottom to get back to the page I was on. In case that does not make sense, let me try to explain. I would be on page 146 out of 745 and would stop. Then when I went back and wanted to start up at page 146 again I had to go to the bottom of the page and click on page 6, let that load and then click on page 13, let that load, etc until I got back to page 146.  Maybe there is a way to do that other than the way I did, but I could not figure it out.

Also, I would like to know if anyone else has found some typos in the recipes?

I agree.  There is not an easy way to use the "sort"  or "search" that I have been able to find for the My Recipe Box.  I may be able to remember two or three of the ingredients I had used but not the name of the recipe.   Would love to seach My Recipe Box by ingredients just as you can in the full "Recipes"   section.

    Re: Improving Recipe Box

When you post a recipe always give it a category such as Appetizers, Bread, Main Course et.

If You did not do this initially I believe you should be able to Edit and make sure a category is present.

At this point it is not too difficult to find a specific recipe.

To sort results, click on a column heading below.

Edit Favorite Recipe Source Contest Winner CategoryTimeRating

    Time Rating Delete

By Clicking on CATEGORY at the Top of your recipe box- All your recipes are organized by Alphabetical Category

    Appetizers, Breads etc

This pulls up the type of recipe you Posted quite easily.

    Other Headings work too:

For Example If you click on Time  (to prepare) and you put in 0 all the 0 times come up first then for example 30 minutes comes up next 60 minutes preparation time etc.All your recipes will be listed by speed of preparation.

Lots of different ways to find a certain recipe in our Recipe Box. We just need to fill out the requested headings  when we Enter them to organize them by topic

Yes, there is a way to quickly go to page 146 for example. If you are on the forum pages and are wanting to go to another page, look up at the address bar and about 2/3 of the way across you will see "...PageIndex=3..." (if you are on page 3). Just go up and click on the number 3 and backspace to remove it and then type in the page number you want - such as 146 and hit enter. It will take you directly to page 146.

    Hope this helps.
