Good morning!  Off for the next 3 days, yea!  Hopefully this computer will not act up in those 3 days either.  I posted early yesterday morning, but when I tried to post Sunday afternoon, forget it.  I really think it's this server, so one more time and I'm calling to complain.
I have a doctor's appt this morning and I may stop and pick up a few things from Walmart.  As for the weather, it's already 70` out there now which means it will be humid today.  With the high up to about 84`.  We also have a 50% chance of rain by this afternoon, I hope so, we really need it.  It hasn't rained here in almost 3 weeks

Supper tonight will be baked spaghetti and garlic rolls.  May do a salad if DD and DH want one.  I baked cookies last night, so I don't have that to do today, may do bread in the bread machine though.
Well, I need to go and get DD up and moving, this is the last month of school for her, so only 4 more weeks of threats.  When I'm working I threaten by texting her, lol.  She went to the beach yesterday with my DB, SIL and DN, so she has a really bad sun burn on her back and the backs of her legs.  She fell asleep on her stomach for 2 hours and they didn't wake her up.  Last night she was miserable and wants me to write her a note to get her out of gym today, so we'll see how she is this morning before I write that note.  I know she's going to milk it though :)
Hope everyone has a good day and I will pop back in sometime!

    Good Morning Margie and Junes~!

Glad everyone had a nice weekend. We spent yesterday out burning our brush and branch piles. took a lot longer than I thought it would. Plus we cut three trees down that were half dead and dangerous and stacked wood. My back is sore this morning from all that yard work~! We put the boys to work helping us out and the stacking of wood got done nice and quick.

Today I am going to start cleaning out Justins room, I have to take everythign off his walls and fill in TONS of little nail and tack holes he has put there throughout the years. I am looking fwd to the end resul with fresh painted walls and posters and shelves nice and neat. That will be a week long project for me this week. I forgot paint brushes though, I have the rollers, So I might end up running to walmart to get brushes, Not sure yet,LOL

Margie, Sorry to hear Emily is still not up to par. Hope she feels better soon. Hard call to make when you know they are not 100%  and they can not miss anymore school yet the school says don't send in sick kids. UGH! Got your recipe e mail. Thank you sweetie.

Tracy, How are things on your end? I am awful about getting back to you on e mails, I am sorry honey. I need to sit down and write~! Hope your family is doing well!!

Denise, Hi hon, sorry to you too on not gettin gback to you on e mails. I do remember you asked about the plant I mentioned "baby Tears" they are just tiny things with tiny little leaves trailing off  several vines. Cute little plants to stick on shelves or mantels. I love them! Hope this finds you and your family doing well.

Have a great day June Bugs, I will try to check in later on,

    Love, Tracie

Good morning all.  I like our new computer but it's hard on this old brain to learn new programs and we went from xp to vista.  Lots of new things and also lots of hunting just to print etc.  But I'm learning.   Rained a bit last night and to rain off and on today, hope it's more than a mist.  temps to stay in low 60's.  Supper will be pea soup with quinoa.  Finally got our printer up and working.  Trying to harden my cucs and melons and it's so windy can't leave them out long or they get severe wind burn.  Taking Miss Frances to the eye doctor then will run to the library.   Taking books to my friend later this week.  Tomorrow they start insulation.

Margie, hope Emily is feeling better.

LauraC, enjoy your days off.  Hope you get rain.

Hi to everyone else.  Will be back later.

Good morning.  Hope everyone had a nice weekend.  We had places to go Sat. & Sun. so the weekend just seemed to fly by.  We had a good time at the FFA banquet Fri. evening.  It was a very long evening, lots of awards were given out.

Dh got the tiller out and got it going.  He even tilled a couple of rows.  The two older kids and I took turns mowing the lawn.  Youngest dd cleaned out the two rabbit hutches and today I plan to spread that in the garden.

Friday that darn cat got his collar off and took out another stitch.  So now someone has to be with him at all times.  When we went somewhere this weekend, we packed him into the kitty carrier and he came along.  At home one of us has to stay in the house with him.  I will be SOOOO glad when his leg is healed.

Margie, sorry to hear your computer is acting up.  I always hate it when mine does.  Sure do hope Emily gets to feeling better soon.

Laura C, sorry to hear about dd's sunburn, so painful.  I know aloe vera gel works pretty good on sunburn, I even break off a piece of my aloe plant for sunburn.

Tracie, will you be changing the color in ds's room?  It's a big job, but oh so worth it.

Jill, you'll have to let me know how you like Vista.  My sil, who takes care of all our computer stuff, talked about putting it on ours.

Well, the clock just chimed, so I have got to get breakfast started.  Waving hello to all, enjoy your day.  Becky

Re: June Cleaver Club Monday 5/4/09

Well, it must be computer problem weekend. Goodness. Last night I started having second thoughts about those bids, so I was going to go back to the bidding website and withdraw those bids and wait another bid cycle to see if the people below me got bids (which might not be wise)....but anyway, tried at least 10 or 20 times to get on there and the website is down and the deadline is today, so unless I can get it fixed before the deadline (not sure what time that is), am going to have to live with this. Its about 5 of one and half a dozen of the other anyway. I do this to myself all the time anyway. Should I, shouldn't I kind of stuff.

Boy did the pool party turn into a dud. Guess I will be eating burgers and hot dogs, potato salad and beans all week (LOL). First of all, the only person who showed up was Charlie, our friend who did most of work at other house. Secondly, the barbecue ran out of gas in the middle of cooking so we had to finish the cooking in the broiler (LOL). Thirdly, I was in the pool about 3 hours and even with sunblock boy did I get sunburned.

Margie, sorry Emily is still feeling sick.

Jill, Margie, and anybody else, sure hope your computer starts working better.

LauraC, what grade is your DD in.

Beth has the first back injection today.

I am at McDowell station today and tomorrow. This will be a busy day. Monday always is. Have to check at the hospital one day this week and see if I can go over the stuff about the new FIM form or else will have to crowd it into my day Thursday, which is what I am supposed to do. I despise having to take classes in the middle of my work day because they still expect me to get everything done but it makes it about 10 times harder to get done. I would rather take part of a different day without pay than do that, but of course it isn't supposed to be done that way. They seem to think we have a limitless supply of time and absolutely n othing to do during that hour. They did say we couldnt' do it Thursday which was supposed to have been the last day as we were the only two core nurses on the floor and we both needed to do it and JHACO was on camput and could have showed up.  SO they extended the deadline one more week. I have to go over the stuff from that class anyway to make sure I remember it. Its not a regular nursing thing, it is specific to rehab facilities and is a measure of Functional Independence Management and has to do with Medicare reimbursement. You have to rate them on 18 different things like feeding, dressing, toileting, transfers, etc and document how much they do and how much nursing does.

Got to get back to also doing my mandatories on line. I didn't even try to do it last week as I was so tired from working all those days in a row.

Waving hi to everybody. I am running behind. Will try to back on later today.

    Good morning!

Got the kids onto the bus and finished straightening the kitchen; wanted to sit down with my coffee & get my post done before little man gets here. Puter is sooo slow this AM. Have laundry going too, supposed to be another beautiful day so I'll be hanging clothes out to dry, and plan on working outside again.

Had a nice lunch yesterday, the youth group at church prepared it and they made chicken & noodles, green beans, salad, and a choice of beverages & desserts. We visited with my mom for a while, then came home & worked outside; did some trimming & weeding, and planted part of the garden.

Margie, sorry Emily still isn't feeling good, sending prayers for her. Hope your 'puter decides to behave.

LauraC, ouch - hope DD's sunburn is better! Hope your appt. goes well & you enjoy your day off.

Tracie, nice you got the trees all finished. Have fun in Justin's room, LOL!

Jill, hope you get your new 'puter figured out; enjoy your day off too. :)

    Deb, have a good day!

Becky, sounds like a very busy weekend, you'll need a nap to catch up, LOL! Sorry about the cat, hope his leg heals soon for you.

Sherry, so sorry about your party; they should have let you know they weren't coming. Hope everything works out with your job bids, and the class at the hospital.

    Patti, enjoy your day!

Just got a call, no little man today, so I should get a lot done! Sending prayers for all who need them; have a good day!

    hugs, Lisa

Good Morning Ladies. Hope everyone is doing well this Monday morning. It's going to be another dreary day today, and we won't see the sun until Wed. Even then, it's only for Wed, then back to rain again! Having a good day so far getting dh and ss off to work. Today i have laundry to do, whites and towels, and I also plan on cleaning the family room, and watering houseplants. Supper for tonight will be pasta, bread and salad.

Margie, Sorry your having computer issues. hope it's fixed soon. Hope Emily feels better, and stays home from school. With the flu spreading everywhere, it's probably best Emily stays home until she feels better.

LauraC, Sorry your having computer issues too. We had a problem with our server last week too. We have AT&T, anyway, we called the company, and we needed to do was disconnect the wires from the modem for a few seconds, plug them back in, and we were good to go. Just a suggestion for you in case that might be the problem. Enjoy your 3 days off. Hope you appt goes well.

Tracie, Do you have a wood burning stove, or a fireplace? WE have both. The wood burning stove is downstairs in the family rooom, and the fireplace is in the living room. WE really don't use the fireplace, but dh always keeps plenty of wood on hand for the wood burning stove. it sure comes in handy in the winter months. Sounds like you have quite a project cleaning up Justin's room. I always hate to get started on big projects like that, but the end result is worth it!

Jill, Glad your enjoying your new computer. i know what you mean, a computer is great, but can be very challenging at times. My step sons are too great about showing us new things regarding the computer. Not that they don't want to,it's just that they're so good at it, they go too fast!

Deb, Enjoy your day today. Sounds like your day isn't too busy for a Monday.

Patti, Enjoy your beautiful weather. Have fun being outside today.

Becky, Glad you had a nice weekend, and the banquet went well Friday night. How did your two younger ones do on their own Friday night?

Sherry, Sorry the pool party didn''t go well. Hope your day at work goes well.

Lisa, Enjoy your nice weather too. I bet your laundry will dry nice on the line today!

Thats it for now. Time for me to get some cleaning done.

    Sending HUGS!

    Good Monday Morning Junes!!!

We had a busy weekend, was in the 50's and sunny, nice for us!  Got a few things done outside, the inside of the house needs some TLC today - don't know how things get so messy when we are gone or outside all day long!  Have tons of laundry to do also.  Tonight the boys have tennis pictures and then a meet, tomorrow Casey and I are going to the Taste of Home cooking show - she is so excited!!!   It will be girls night, thought I would take her out for supper before hand, she will love that!   Then on Wedneday we go see the cardiologost - have to go pick up x-rays today also.

Keeping you all in our prayers

Re: June Cleaver Club Monday 5/4/09

Good morning ladies, I slept in late today, as I did a lot of gardening yesterday, and DH helped me take two big bushes out of whiskey barrels, and put them in the ground. What a job that was, but I didn't want the whiskey barrels on the deck anymore, so took the bushes out, and put the buckets by my park bench, on the lawn, and I am going to fill them both with wave petunias of different colors, hot pink with white, and purple with light lavender ones, ought to be pretty. I also made two little baskets of pansies. and put one basket on the Bistro table and another pot on my table by the swing.

I also potted hot pink Ivy Geriaiums, can't spell this morning, Lol, put them in hangers on my garden shed, and brought some beautiful lavender Ivy Geriaiums (Sp) and have two pots that hook on to the back porch railings, and they are going there to drap down over the railing. As you can tell I went to the greenhouse, and got enough Perennials to finish my Hosta garden with flowers, and brought a couple of more rock flowers for my rock wall on the side of the driveway, which is starting to bloom with purples, white, pinks and yellow rock flowers.

Today, I am just doing light gardening, as I have a slight backache from yesterday's bush planting, not going to the gym, as I want to relax that back today, and take it a little easier today. Happy Belated Anniversary to Patti and DH, hope you had a beautiful day together, and spent quality time together also. Today It is going to be 69 degrees, my kind of weather, and I am going to do what I can today inside and out, and leave the rest until tomorrow. It is going to rain for a couple of days this week, so will go to the gym then. I had a wonderful day Sat. with DH gone up North with his DB, bad June, Lol, I went to the Greenhouse and brought lots of flowers, went to a lawn sale in a church in Manchester, took myself to Woofies, a wonderful Seafood Shack, and had the best Fried Clams around with all the fixings, and he cooked them just the way I like them. Then did a couple more errands, brought a new bird feeder too, and came home to my furbabies, had a treat for them too, took a nice nap with them, then out to do some potting with the flowers, and then DH walked into the yard at seven. He said didn't you guys miss me, and I said of course we did, Lol. It was just such a peaceful day, everybody needs one of those days, once in a while.

I am going to throw a load of dark clothes in the washer, let it do its thing, then tidy up the house and outdoors I go. When I am done, will swing with my furbabies, and just enjoy the day and the nice weather. The rain is coming in tomorrow, but we can really use it. I am going to clean out DH's shirts and see what he wants to keep, and then clean out two bureaus up stairs, and put away the winter clothes. I will pack away some of the Christmas boxes in my new storage area in each bedroom, as it is going to rain anyways tomorrow, and that is a good job to do while it is raining.

So have a great day girls, have to get my yard work done before the end of the month, as I will be planting in the raised beds then, and will be quite busy. Hope you all sit outdoors in the sunshine and plant a few flowers to enjoy this summer.

    Belle

    Good Morning June friends!!

Just finished reading all the posts, was nice to catch up with everyone.

Jill, I have XP on my laptop and DH & DD both have Vista, I don't care for Vista at all, doesn't seem as user friendly. But I guess you can get used to anything...

    Jolene, praying for you for the appointment tomorrow. {{{hugs}}}

DD is sewing a dress in her clothing and designs class at school, so we went this weekend to buy material, pattern, thread, zipper, etc... Can't wait to see what she comes up with! They learned to crochet a few weeks ago, she's been busy crocheting anytime she watches TV, etc... it made me dig out my stuff and start again too.

I need to get busy with a few chores around the house before I sit here much longer, getting too comfy. Need to vacuum and sweep, etc... I would love to start gardening, suppose to have nice temps this week. I'll get DH to get my flower containers out of storage, we put them up in the garage attic for winter. The birds are chirping so loudly this morning, sounds like summer.

After school DD has her first school soccer game, can't wait to watch her! After the game she has to hurry to her other team's practice. Not sure what's for dinner tonight, maybe perogy casserole, not sure what else.

    Have a great day GFs!

Hello Again Ladies. I've had a busy morning and it feels so good to sit down. The family room looks and smells so clean now, my plants are watered, and white and towels are washed, dried and put away. I finished the book I was reading last night, so today i'll go through my Ladies' Home Journal magazine. it came in the mail a few weeks back, but I only glanced through it, and I've been so busy since that I haven't had tome to read it. i really should read it, because the new issue will be here before long!

Jolene, Glad you had a nice weekend, and are one of the lucky ones to have sunny skies today! Isn't it amazing how things get piled up i the house, you can't leave the house alone for very long, and you'll have more work ahead of you! Hope you get some time for yourself today!

Belle, You've really been busy with your yard work. I bet it looks beautiful. My husband plante a couple of fern type trees and a willow tree ss brought home from the greenhouse where he works. Next step is to get the wood chips put down, then we can work on getting the animal and yard decorations out. I'll help with that at least. Your petunias sound so pretty. Enjoy your beautiful weather.

Laura.  I know what you mean about getting comfortable on the computer. i always come here in the morning after dh leaves for work, and i try to make it quick otherwise I won't want to get any work done around the house. After I'm done with my work, i come back on to post some more, and just look at other sites. The computer is so much fun!

Thats it for now. Hope everyone is enjoying their Monday!

    Sending HUGS!
