We are in our final month together as this group of SS winds down. It is kind of a bittersweet time but I always look forward to knowing who my SS is, don't you?!

In  your final mailing, be sure to include your name. Please mail as soon as possible this month and definitely no later than the 15th. If there is any issues this month, it is imperative that you get in touch with Marcia or Linda.

My computer has been down for an entire week and I am so sorry to my SS for not being to post a proper thank you for the card I received last week.  You don't know what wonderful timing you have!  With all the medical problems DH is having I don't know what each day is going to bring and the card arrived on an especially bad day.  I just love the verse on the back of the card!  It has sustained me during this entire week.  When things look bad, I just look at that verse and it helps me get things back in perspective.  It was just THE perfect card at THE perfect minute.  Thank you so much for all the thought put into the cards and gifts you send.

The mail just came!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Birthday Godmother send me a cookbook and a nice birthday card!!!!!  Woopie!!!!  The card is really pretty (in a purple envelope too )  The card is all sparkly and has birthday cakes growing on trees- inside is this Bible verse:

"These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be full" John 15:11

What a lovely verse!  Thanks SIS!

OH, did I mention there was a cookbook??? I squealed when I saw which one is it-it's Paula Deen Yall!!!!!  The name of the cookbook is The Deen  Family Cookbook.  I wish you could hear my Paula Deen voice, lol!!!!  I really love this-it was sooo nice of you to send it!!! I love Paula Deen and didn't have any of her cookbooks until now. I used to take the magazine but I forgot to renew it.

Just got home from the lake. And surprise!  A package.  Thank you to my SS for thinking about me.

Sorry to post this late but I checked my mail on the way to class last night and then did my online class late last night. But I got a card from my SS telling me to hang in there. It couldn't have come at a better time, thank you. Not only do I have the worry of school and how to pay for it but now my lower disc may be out on my back. The chiro and dr aren't sure until I get an MRI but without insurance I won't get it. Thank you so much again for the encouraging card.

Dear Frosty's Friend,

     Mom had an eye doctor appointment and it ran late as he perscriped for her new glasses....a less stronger perscription than she had before....so those horrible injections in the eye, did wonders!!  The doctor is really pleased with her progress and she was so happy to be getting new glasses that have a touch of pink in them!!  We stopped for a good lunch and then just got home a little bit ago.

    No, I never did replace the DVD player.

    We got our gas grill at Sears, but I saw this week, that Walmart had some nice grills that were not too badly priced.  The grill I saw at Walmart was $125 and it was a bigger grill and a little nicer than the one I got at Sears.  The grill I got at Sears is a real nice size for the three of us and I do like it alot and use it often, especially in the summer time. Our garden is all planted, with a fence around it, in case the rabbits decided to feast or the goose, who lives up the road, gets loose, again.  That Goose is huge, and I do enjoy seeing him roam, but  we really don't want him eating our garden...LOL

  Thank you for the nice card, note and 3 D Flex Auto Emblem, I received in the mail today!! The emblem is in the shape of a fish with a cross on the inside!!  I hope all is well with you and yours.

Thanks to my Secret Sister, I will be cooking and baking up a storm.  Thank you, Sister, for the the TOH Quick Cooking Annual Recipes cookbook and Perfect Cookies cookbook.  Both look to have some amazing recipes and I can't wait to sit down and peruse them.  It won;t be long before I get to find out who you are.

Thank you BooBoo for the cute card.  You really caught me off guard on this one, asking me if I wanted a hint about you and then telling me the hint was "I am your SS".  I was expecting to see who you were!  You got me all excited for nothing! LOL No more pick-a-nick baskets for you!!LOL

Thanks for thinking of me sweet BooBoo and I have bittersweet feelings about you.  I want to know who you are, but then I know I won't be your SS anymore!! Waaah! Old Yogi wonders if anyone has a Kleenex?

I received my reveal package today and I want to send you a big THANK YOU

The first things i found was a news paper from her town, Paso Robles, CA....brochures from the town and the wineries with maps and a competition book for the mid-state fair.
I also received

a container of cotton candy...(which is half gone....I was hungry when I open the box)
2 bags of popcorn...kettle corn and cheese popcorn...one of them will be next...lol
a pack of blank cards.....need them!
a journal......nice.
recipe cards.....can always use them.
a soil test kit....we really can use this.
a wire hanging basket and African Daisy seeds....haven't tried them but I will now!!
a bag of Riesen chocolate caramels...must hide them...quick...the Chocolate Monster (DH)
a beautiful wind-chime. It has 3 pieces of wood...the top one says "Welcome" the next piece is a    door, complete with knob, then the next says "To Our Home" below that one there are 6       metal tubes to jingle.......so pretty... I already have a place to put it!
a garden stake that looks like "uncle Sam's" hat...red, white and blue with stars and strips and
    has America on the bottom of the brim.
I love the book "Sisters" such nice and 'cute' phrases about being a sister and friend to each
    other.
a book of poems called "Heart Gifts" that is from her on collection. This means a lot to me. Thank
    you.
a roll of gift wrapping wire that has little starters on it....multi-colored.
a shot glass form Paso Robles...so beautiful!!!! I love it.
a pair of garden gloves....they will get some use.
In the bottom was a ceramic figurine of 2 frogs sitting (like people) on a rock. It is about 6in high
   and 4IN wide. DH really like it too.

In the bottom was a post card from my "SS By The Sea"  Debbie!!

Thanks so much for my package. You are such a sweetie, and I was so hoping that beads with your name on them would be in the little white envelope!! But, no you must "string me along". LOL. Pretty soon I will know, and will be glad to have you for a friend.

Thanks so much for the Starbucks chocolate bar. They are so good. I love the aloe infused socks. I always see them in the store and think that they would be very nice, but haven't ever bought any for myself. I just slipped them on, and they are the softest socks ever!

I love the keychain and it couldn't have come at any better time or had any better wording. The pretty beaded keychain says "Wherever you go, go with all your heart". This is perfect because I am in the process of packing up to move to another state this summer. My husband has taken a new job, and while it is a great opportunity for us, we've lived here for almost 8 years, and will be a big adjustment, especially for the kids.

I love the card and the "Secret Sister" beads. They just need your name below them!

I must tell you also that I really enjoy the Amish devotional book you had sent earlier.. It is great.
