Mine is from the 70's probably and my moms is from the 50's, but I think my brother has that one. The recipes I use from mine are oven fried chicken, pancakes (use it as the basis for my corn fritters), snickerdoodles, and waikiki meatballs. There might be more if I really looked (LOL).

The one I have now is from 1986. After I had given away my older version, I found I had made a bad mistake. Several items are missing in this version.  I still turn to this book often -- for example, just last week I wanted to know how long and at what temperature to bake a chicken. I have separate instructions for brining poultry and for the rub that I use, but not the time & temp for baking.

A recipe that I used the BC book for recently was for the pickled beets.

I have two Betty Crocker cookbooks, one was my Mom's from 1953 from which I still use recipes for Cinnamon Rolls, homemade breads and rolls; also other great treasures.  Also have 1974 edition received as engagement gift from my Mom, although some of the recipes are not included in the newer edition.

Mine is a 1944 edition.    I seldom use recipes anymore, but I always check it when I make white sauce.  Somehow I always seem to forget the portions. I used a good many of them in earlier years.
