    Good Morning,

Marica-that sounds like a really cool class to take-I would love to have a machine that could do embroidery.  There used to be a show, I don't think it was Sewing with Nancy-but another similar show where these two ladies had the neatest computer-controlled sewing machines.  They looked so neat and easy to use.  I would love to have something like that and be able to use it.

My kitten is acting crazy running back and forth through the house trying to rile up the other cats.

Hope you all have a good morning

Marcie, your class sounds like fun! My sewing machine needs to be serviced. Sad It will not run at all. I've still  got a lot of yarn in my stash, so I'm happy.

China, DD's class had a lot of fun at the park recital. I'll be posting pics when I get the time. I'm popping in really quick...I need a break from school work.

Redawna, how did the meeting go?

    Hi Debbie!

Everyone must be busy today. DS has had a bad day. He didn't want to go to school or to town at all. He has stayed in his pjs all day. It all started because he wanted tacos for lunch. He did not want to wait for dinner. He sure was happy at dinner time though.

As some of you know i have been taking writing courses to become a writer. i graduated two months ago.  i was recomended by my instructor for their advanced program. it is a small program that only takes 60 students a year. i was informed yesterday that i had been accepted for this program.

it will cost about $700 but i can make payments. i hope i do as well in this program as i did in the first.  i am hoping that this course will help me sell more articals and mabey even a story or two.

i am already looking forward to haveing my first artical published at the end of this year. when it comes out i will post a link to the magazines web site where you can read it.

good morning all!  I hope you are doing well.  We are home from our trip.  There was a storm while we were gone and some of my friends were without power.  So yesterday, she brought food over to our freezer until theirs is back up.

I still have laundry to do.  That's the worst part of traveling.  Coming home and having to get a lot of things done.  It's just hard to get back into a routine.  So now I'm sitting with my coffee, watching a DVD, and writing this quick message!  :-)

Well, I should try to get up and do some things.  I feel like I'm just staring off into space, so I should probably get up!  Have a great day!

    Good Evening, Sisters!

Cindi, so good to see you! I am glad you found a job that you like and can stay home, too! How is your hubby doing? I have thought about you so often!

Rachelle, your DD is absolutely adorable!!

Denise, my new lil Sis... that is wonderful about the courses! Good luck~I sure had fun being your SS this last time! Now you post more often! That will be great writing experience! lol

Sharon, you have me nervous about the weather...it surely isn't *S*, is it? I have been in a sweatshirt for the past two days...China, put down that pillow you are going to throw at me!

I have to get settled down for the night....My bathroom trim has turned into a major project and I am still not done! The weather is supposed to warm up so I want to get started on the chicken coop this weekend!

OH...Redawna, are you going to beat me in trying this? I haven't had a 31.00 bottle of wine, but close to it...I even saw a bottle of chocolate wine-and it's cheap! Good thing I didn't have the checkbook or cash or it would have been mine...still might be! lol

ChocoVine is a fine French Cabernet subtly combined with a rich dark Chocolate from Holland, paired together to create a decadent, silky smooth drink, which can be served by itself on the rocks or as the main ingredient to an array of sinful cocktails.

    Cold choco wine

    Ingredients
Chocolate ice cream - 2 scoops
    Wine 4 ounce
    Ice
    Mint leaves - 4 to 5 leaves
    Directions
    Cold choco wine:
Blend all the chocolate ice cream and the wine in a blender and serve with ice cubes, decorated with mint leaves.

I have this but can't bring my self to drink it...several different kinds!

    Gotta go!

    Hey sisters!

I decided not to join this round but plan on posting here still.  It's been three weeks today since I had my rotator cuff surgery.  I started physical therapy last week and my shoulder is not hurting much anymore.  Can't wait until I have full rotation again.  This Tuesday, I thought I had a stroke or a bad allergic reaction.  I went to the doctor and found out it was Bell's Pasley.  This is worst than the surgery and I probably got it from the stress of the surgery/recovery.  My eye does close and blink but it hurts/burns.  My mouth feels swelled but it's not and it's hard to eat/chew.  If you all can say a prayer, I would appreciate it.  They started me on some medication and said it should reverse itself within two weeks to two months.  Physical therapy said they could do some things next week if it's not better.

Vacation Bible School starts next week which I have been busy getting ready for.  We are going to put final touches to decorations tomorrow and then we should be ready!  This is my favorite thing to do at church all year.

Redawna, do you have a website yet to share?

    Rachael, your daughter is precious.

    Miss you guys.

    Hugs, CJ
