Sigh, I have a feeling this is going to be the shortest summer in history! Rain, rain, rain. The sun came out for 30 min intervals yesterday to break up the high winds and torrential downpours. Put Jake to bed, but he was up less than an hour later, the thunder scared him so I let him sleep on the couch until Tim got home.
Managed to get some knitting done before he came up, I'm on the 7th repeat of the middle off the shawl, 3 more to go after that, and then the last 3 sets of dropped stitches. Should definitely be finished by Saturday. Have to get another project lined up, because both Jake and Tim will be gone on the 4th, so I'll be able to have a nice uninterrupted day of knitting or girly movies or whatever the heck I want :)
Jeanette, the train ride sounds great! We had planned on going up Mt Washington on the Cog Railway, but it was sooo expensive. Maybe next year. I'll be happy to post the pics for you!
Margaret, looking foward to seeing your finished tablecloth! My mom always crocheted big projects like that, bedspreads, tablecloths, etc. The biggest I've done is a baby blanket :)
Off to feed the little guy breakfast :) Waving to Kathie and everyone who stops in later.
