I'd like to organize a GA get together - Anyone interested?

I live in Atlanta, but am willing to travel north or south for a get together. Let me know if you are interested and then we can select a meeting place. I work during the week, so I would need to meet on a Saturday or Sunday. I would love to meet some of you wonderful ladies/gents in person. What do you say? I will also post this in Kitchen Chat.

I'd be interested, also, if it's before late August or after early October as I'll be out in Oregon from late August to early October.    Wish the "Oregonians" would also have a get together - LOL!  It's so hot here now - we have lots of parks around the Metro area but not sure we can "take the heat"!

Lynne - I think they had one a few years back, south of Atlanta.   I didn't go but I vaguely remember reading about it.

yes - I went to the one several years ago - but I would be interested in doing it again.

Well so far it is a party of 3. Anyone else interested? I can't wait to meet Jane and Tria.

I know Tree will come and we can probably talk Peachy into coming.

The only others I can think of who might come would be LittleLady and Gaudrey.  They came to our last meeting years ago.

If it turns out to be just a small group - we could aim for a restaurant convenient to the highways - or one of the malls, outlet or regular - that would allow us to "sit for awhile" so we could enjoy our visit.  Guess we should aim for the location that is most convenient to "most".  Doesn't Star live north of Atlanta?

We definitely should check with Gaudrey as her convenience will probably decide her participation.

I e-mailed Gaudrey and she mentioned Rhonda might be interested.

I'm interested in meeting, I'm in Macon.  Any day, any place is fine with me.

   I'm Tree's mom (she may not admit that!  LOL), she is mostly on KC .

I thought Covington would work.  It's right on I-20 - easy access.
