What does he do that's so repulsive? Is it his attitude? Does he put his hands on you? Does he use inappropriate language??
((((Peanut))) What a cruddy way to spend your days.
Hold on to the thought he will rotate out of there!! Are you directly responsible for him or he of you? if not, avoid him, don't forget to breathe and LOL so sorry Peanut!!!
We have a few of "them" where I work. And to answer JenniHusker's question.....

They breathe !!!!
Gotcha
Wow! Consider yourself to only have one!
I know the feeling but you'd have to multiply it by 10 in my working world. And I don't make it a secret either.
Peanut5710_va:I absolutely can not stand working with one of the guys in my office.
I can certainly relate to that statement!! And all I have to say is "Welcome to my World!" Ain't it just so much fun??
I worked with a guy once who was just so irritating, I tried to describe it to my supervisor, but she just didn't get it til the day she walked past my office and he was leaning over me while I sat at my desk trying to show me something on a document - he was so much into my space that I was practically bent all the way over, my head was almost at desk level! Finally she got it! It wasn't a sexual thing, it was just ... EWWWWW get outta my space, freako!
I know you're just venting, Peanut- but I would be cautious these days- you might get what you want, only it's you on the short end- I want my job back, and I've only been away 2 weeks!
If you have anything directly to do with him, talk to your supervisor. If not, stay far away from him until he leaves.
Just be cool till he has rotated out...you will still have your job and he will be gone. Easy to say, maybe, but I've been there. Try to avoid the guy (sometimes can be a gal too) as much as possible and "fly below the radar."
I've been having a rough time at work as well, but at the end of the day I'm very thankful for having a job. I have to remind myself that I choose my attitude and reaction and try not to let it get to me. Haven't been so successful lately. I left work so frustrated and angry that I couldn't even go to the concert we had tickets for. All I wanted to do was go home and veg in front of the TV or computer. I'm so thankful I have tomorrow off and have 3 days to get myself sorted out.
If you let him get to you, then he wins. Do your best not to let that happen.
