Piercings?

I don't have any piercings, including ears.

The people who do it are craving attention thats for sure,they beg HEY LOOK AT ME. . Well were looking but ya have no idea what were thinking. The lip corner thing looks like a piece of food needs to be wiped off.

I thought I was the only female on earth who doesn't have pierced ears.  It's nice to know I'm not totally alone.

Another member of the Nothing Pierced, Not Even Ears Club.  I can't imagine making a hole in your flesh like that on purpose.

OH.  OK.   I know what you mean.  It always seemed to me that would be awfully painful.  I don't do pain very well at all.

I had my ears pierced when I was 21 (one hole each ear) but I haven't worn any earings for so long the holes closed up.  So, now I have no piercings.

I have no problem with ears (but not multiple - I think it;s ugly) but elsewhere is also very ugly.

Limey, Janet flashed the whole world at the Super Bowl one year.  There was quite a stir.   I'm surprised you didn't hear about it.   That's how I heard.  I certainly never wanted to know. LOL

I was in my 20s when I got my ears pierced, but I can't remember the last time I wore earrings. I think maybe a couple of Christmases ago, when I went to a party. The holes are still there, but I just never got into wearing earrings all the time.

Other piercings... I'm not interested enough in them to have one myself, but I know quite a few people who have them. I don't really have an opinion about them on others, other than that some people can carry them off better than others. Piercings can look good or not-so-good, like any other fashion statement.

I remember Janet's flashing moment; however, I guess I missed the piercing part...LOL 

I have my ears pierced.  The bottom holes were "professionally" done in Jr. High.  The two just above those were done with a sterilized needle, potato and ice with Hydrogen peroxide. 

 If piercings make you feel good about yourself, go for it. As an old lady though, it isn't something I'm interested in for myself.

I remember that - when Justin Timberlake tore her clothes off!!  LOL!   I guess I vaguely remember summat about her having a n*pple ring.

I guess I 'm just old but I have pierced ears  (only one in each) and I do wear earrings all the time.  Anything past ears just grosses me out.  Sorry, but I can't even stand to look at someone with pierced eyebrows, noses, lips, and tongues.  I don't really care what anyone pierces on their bodies, just don't ask me to look at it.  Some person might be the sweetest, angelic or whatever but present a bunch of body piercings and my opinion changes in a heartbeat.  I feel pretty much the same about tattoes and I can't understand why anyone would want to permanently mark his/her body.  Whatever anyone wants to do is up to them but just don't ask for approval from me - not that it would matter to anyone!

 I just have my ears pierced, once on each ear. I do wear earrings frequently. I didn't wear them much when my kids were little, but I wear them all the time now. My ear lobes are on the thick side, so my holes never closed up. I find wearing studs uncomfortable. I like wires. Oldest DD has had her ears pierced since she was 4 and never had a problem. I don't think she wears earrings much now.

Youngest DD had her ears pierced at 10, they closed up, and had them redone at 14. I think they've closed up again. She has a nose piercing, with a small stud on the side. The fastener inside her nose looks like a booger to me.

My mother was dead set against her 5 daughters getting their ears pierced. That was something "foreign" women did. LOL! I was the first to rebel at age 20, and 3 of my other sisters followed shortly.

I have my nose & navel done.I used to have my tongue done also but I kept hitting my teeth with it so I took it out.I also have my ears pierced 7 times on one ear & 5 on the other but usually just wear earrings in the first.
