Geeze Laweeze That isn't just for eats, guess wasn't making clear, I ment I've got to stop inpulse buying to.Thats how I'll be saving. . I put all my buying on my charge card and do most of it at Meijers ,it's a super store. My bill includes all my living buying,,toiletrys , household items cloths.Lawn supplys. I just think if I only go to the store a few times a month I won't blow as much money.. Yes I know the dogs get people food but they are very healthy. They eat Bountiful dog food but do get there deli treats.I have always called shopping there as grocery shopping, My friends all think we pay more here for things.

    gameball:
I can see where I'll save a ton will be on groceries. I now buy what ever we want , that will come to a halt.I blow 8 to 9 a month on it. Mainly cause I go almost every day. It's maybe 20 to 60 a trip. This has to end.

Sorry gameball....if you will read again what you wrote about spending...you did say groceries...that it will come to a halt...that you blow 8 to 9 a month on it.

Did I not read it right, or did you not write it right, Stick out tongue. I don't see where you said it was everything....you only mentioned groceries.

    Again sorry for the misunderstanding.

Edit:  I now see where you mentioned not making it clear...nope, have to say, it wasn't. lol.

I try not to use a lot of packaged things and make from scratch. We also use the library. I love magazines but at $5 - $9 a pop that's is too outrageous! My library has a bookstore and I can get Southern Living, Everyday Food, Good Housekeeping, Paula Deen, and much more for anywhere from 25 - 50 cents each. If I don't tear anything out I give them back so they can sell again. I don't mind they are a few months old. Ideas and recipes are always in style! We don't go out near as much as before and find coupons on line when we do. Our local bowling alley has a buy 1 get 1 game free coupon on their website so we do that a couple times a month. Hubby used to send his shirts out but now I iron every single one. That's the one thing I hope we can afford sometime soon. I don't mind ironing but he has a lot of shirts. It's my fault too because I procrastinate too. The towel in the dryer idea is interesting. Of course, my laundry is already done for the week. Now I have to remember for next week!! LOL
