Grannies Neighborhood 7/3/9

Good Morning it is still dark but the birds are calling to the sun to get up. I think it will work. Time to make coffee race you to the kitchen to see who gets to do it. LOL Oh sorry I was running the wrong way ! I may not make any going shopping later so hardly worth the effort I'll just sit here and wait for someone else to do it. Sounds good to me . Ok time to rise and shine.

I SHOULD  go to WM but am afraid the crowds will be there............I have Thrift Store this morning & by this afternoon................ohhhhhhhhhhhh!      Fireworks at the LAKE are tonite & many people go real early to get a good spot! {I have to drive  right past there to get to Auburn}

A cool day today, scattered showers.....................I gave up on the lawn!  YIKEEES!

Coffee is almost done, follow me to the kitchen. Also got some banana bread left, let me just warm it up a bit. Grab some coffee and we will sit out on the patio and wait quietly for the rest of the "Hood" to wake up

OK !!!  I HAD a plate of PB Brownies on the counter but DD & Kate were here last nite; only 3 left!    lol   

 Good Morning Ladies - - - The sun is shininig and it warmed up - it's a beautiful day in my neighborhood.  WIsh it could stay like this - - - I'm sure I'll be complaining about heat and humidity again soon though.  I really try not to complain in the summer, since I do so much of it in the winter, but sometimes, that humidity does cause me to do so. 

The show was good last night - Very entergetic kids, full of talent.  A 

I wasn't finished, but mmy post went flying - - at least it's not in cyber land, so will just continue.

I was just going to say, a very enjoyable evening.

I slept well last night, but woke up with a headache - don;t do that real often, so don't know whats up  - - I have been making up statements for 2 days and will be again today - Maybe in that some possision for so long - kind of stresses the shoulder/neck areas - and as MJ would say, this too shall pass!  

For now, I just want to enjoy the nice day, and hope it's just as nice in your neighborhood.

  NAH!!   If the treats are out there; they are fair game!  :O)    Little Garrett  only likes certain cookies [& only boughten ones; MOM does'nt bake]  & will give me back the cookie if it not to his liking!  Are they funny little ones?!

Need to get something done with this hair..........check in later.............

No work today, we are closed for the 4th, Hip Hip Hooray!  Have some errands to run and always a few things to do around here so will keep busy.

MJ-thanks for opening the door and we can now we can go sit on CP's patio with coffee and banana bread.

Apple-Fireworks tonight at the lakefront in Milwaukee, always a huge crowd. We went when the kids were little but not any more.  Sunny and 60 here now and going to get in the 70's, beautiful day.

CP-thanks for the goodies and the comfy seat on your patio.

Jane-glad you enjoyed the show and I hope your headache goes away

Well I fell back to sleep that is what  happens when you wake up to early. Was reading along and noticed Jane had to work today then got to the last post and Stylist told me it was Friday. well for goodness sake I thought it was Saturday already  duh . Well now I can't eat eggs anymore can't eat something that smiles at me like the ones Stylist fixed.  Apple it is sad that a child won't eat something home made and who is little Garret? Another duh moment I have seen his name just can't remember. Well I did not make coffee and maybe it affects my memory . If we are going to go to Meijers I  better start shaking a leg around here.

TTFN hope to be back with enough money left to live for a day or two lol .

Goodmorning grannies. I can't see the sun yet. It might wake up later, a cloudy morning and a bit warmer today.

MJ BURRRRP  I'll skip the banana bread this morning. Just looking for coffee. None here I better move on.  Hope you find lots of good sale stuff at Mejier. I did my thing there yesterday dropped a bundle. Maybe I won't need to go back for awhile.

Apple beautiful fireworks to start off the weekend! When I frist saw it there was only a black sq with a couple little color spots on it. I refresh with full quality and all the fireworks started!!

Goodmorning CP finally found you sitting out here. I was up but I have to take care of the most improtant 5 before I can come to the GN. Now I'm ready to sit, sip and chat.

Greenback glad you had another nice evening out. I think I have found  someone to do something with. A call tonight will confirm. Maybe see the parade in themorning then lunch. Wish I had a busy bee friend like you.

GU always nice to have the extra day off to make a long weeked.

This area's claim to fame today! Local company designed and made M. Jackson's casket. $25K! Solid bronze with gold overlay....and he will still be dead and it won't matter what the box looks like.  Small time local rib joint will be featured on Regis and K for best bbq ribs! I need to ck that place out. It's close by in a tiny  little burg. Trenton, near the Miller brewery. Mj's trucker used to haul from there.

Time to get busy with the REAL 5! Like bed making, breakfast and kitchen clean up, laundry basket if overflowing.... Hummers and orioles to ck for.

Hi, KATHIE, brownies don't last long anywhere. Same thing happens here, but I don't touch them. You will have to show Garrett what he is missing by making him some goodies.

CP, glad I found you out on the patio with a couple of grannies. Could be a nice place to sit all day.

JANE, been thinking the same thing. I bellyached when it was chilly a couple of days ago, and now the warmer temps may make me do the same thing. Sounds like you need some movement during those sitting sessions at work. It helps to get up and stretch a bit.

STYLIST, those eggs wouldn't be smiling at me, I need that yolk to be done. Have a good visit and breakfast this morning.

GLEE, two of our neighbors go to the lakefront for the fireworks. I don't want to be in that crowd. I will watch them on TV.

GRAMMY, glad you will be having a day with a friend. Bet you and JANE could really kick up your heels if you lived closer. I'm not watching any talk shows, sick of MJackson stories.
