Well the rumors about Trig being her daughter's went around long before she was on the presidential ticket.  So I don't think she could have meant that...but maybe so.

I took the 'hell yeah' comment to have come from her husband, for some reason.  He wants her home cookin' and a sewin!

I'm generally Republican. But I thought she was a marketing strategy. Same as BO. Although, in his case, it worked.

Now I am hopeful that this opens new doors for the Republican team.

You libs shouldn't be to happy about her quitting as she will be back and stronger than ever.

Mitt Romney + Sarah Palin or a 3rd party created by Palin.

Now if anyone should resign it should definately be Obamie.  He's definately taking this country down.

Oh, don't be so sure that 'libs' are happy about her quitting. Many, many, many liberals would have loved to see her front & center for the Republicans. What better way to assure even more victories for liberals and progressives than to have THAT on the other side???

The Mormon and The Mommy! Now that is rich! LOL I do not care if Palin is a woman(so all women should support her),whether she is a good mommy or not,a Republican or not,she is not in my estimation(as shoddy as it is)President material. I don't even think she is a good politician. Her speech was disjointed bordering on incomprehensible, bumbling and whiny. Still has not given a reason for resigning. Now 3 years for prep to run for President in 2012? A run for Senator? Nah.Personal reasons more like it. Perhaps someone is getting to close to info and a cut and run decision has been made. Who knows what that woman wants or even thinks,if she really does think at all.

This was a sad Election Year, for sure. The marketing genius of the Dem's out-beat that of the Rep's. Sarah was the closest we could get and a nice surprise! Still, in my estimation, it didn't seem right. An odd couple, she and John. We Rep's shamefully matched the oddity of Joe and OB. Ha!

Being a strong woman is not enough to make me like Hillary Clinton, and it's not enough to make me like Sarah Palin either.  I don't vote based on gender.

Thanks for the input, Supe, I didn't see your post when I last replied.  So were they making fun of the radio host Burke....I'd think that more than making fun of Trig, but a "malicious desecration of a photo "!!  I mean who they trying to fool here??

The Mormon and The Mommy!!  Oh man that's a kick.  Neither one got much respect by themselves so just maybe between the two of them they might be considered one whole candidate.

And YoHo....you still crack me up!

I believe that the Obama's are biggoted in their own way. As for someone being dumb enough to have those opinions that does not mean they cannot do a job. As much as you may not agree with their opinons, that is all they are, opinons. I think the state is better off financially now than when she took office. I wish I could say the same fo rmy state. We had a surplus till our governor took office and are now big time in debt.

" Ever notice how republicans can't stay on point. It's always the childish come back. The Old ,,'YA BUT' "Well now if that ain't the pot calling the kettle black. If you are going to make such a vague statement don't expect anyone to take it seriously.

"Josh Marshall at Talking Points Memo similarly suggested, “Remember that based on the public record, Palin is a wildly unethical public official, guilty at a minimum of numerous instances of abusing her authority as governor." Totally inaccurate. There were 15 accusations, only 1 of which had any merit. She took her daughter with her and most official do the same thing including President and Mrs. Obama. Are you going to ask that they pay for attending the show in New York last month??????? And she paid the money that it was thought to have cost the state. And if there WERE all this info then why was it nor released immediately after her speech?

Rennee comments were made about who was Trigg's real mom as well as her choice of delivery and even continuing to bring her pregnency to term when there was a quesiton about the issues he would have.

Nite Owl I watched both CNN and FOX and they DID say she was resigning. Cavuto specifically asked his guests about her resignation and repeatedly used that term. The blogger that was mentioned should not have been using her child to make the point she wanted to make.it was nobetter than Letterman's comments about the baseball game.

I can almost hear you guys cracking her bones as you lick the last of her hide off and leave her without anything but your bloody mouths drooling.. Really, get a grip. You seem to think she is the one taking us down.

Hope you remember this when we need a life preserver or do you all have so much money to throw around that it doesn't matter how much THIS president spends. Yes, it is all about Bush, but really he isn't here now and it is your game.. When it all falls apart you will only have your team to blame!

Good luck to Sarah and may she finally be left alone by you blood thirsty vultures!

He who angers you, controls you!

PG My thoughts exactly.  I think she knows she couldn't beat Lisa Murkowski.  Hey maybe she will run against Don Young!!!  She might stand a chance there.  He was almost defeated last year.

She's been doing a pretty good job of that up here.
