Hi Everyone!  Monday's mail brought recipes from Beckie B.-  quite a few goodies here. I can see most of them appearing on my dinner table in the near future.

Beckie sent Garlic soup, pink squirrel, Cherry Crunch, Pecan balls and Shrimp dip.

All sound really good, the pink squirrel I may try really soon - this remodeling project on the family room is driving me NUTS!

    Happy swapping!

I did a double take when I saw the name of a recipe was Pink Squirrel. I thought I had wandered out of TOH there for a minute. Haha. I am assuming it is an alcoholic beverage? Sounds like something a southener would have come up with for sure!

Yes Steph,it is an alcoholic beverage...it's one of those,"Foo Foo"drinks my mother would have on occasion in the 60's.Ever heard of Grasshoppers?Kind of the same thing, only they have Cream de Mint(spelling?) in them.Where they came from,I have no idea, lol!

They are probably wondering about that anyway...  living in a house with five grown men and me, then toss in the two grandsons every weekend I am sure alot of the neighbors are wondering what kind of woman moved into their neighborhood....  oh well....
