Dorito Casserole

This is the original recipe. I just put all of the Doritos into it and I think that is why I used more enchilada sauce. I usually use a 20 oz can of enchilada sauce and stir all the chips into the casserole and don't reserve any for the top and it has always worked for me. I had a friend say that hers came out runny so not sure if she used the large can of enchilada sauce or what happened. You could always start with a cup, stir it together and see if it looked dry or not.
1 lb. lean ground beef, browned
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 c. mild enchilada sauce
1 c. milk
4 oz. can diced green chiles
1 medium bag Doritos, crushed (save about 1/4 for topping)
salt and pepper to taste
shredded Mexican blend cheese or Monterey Jack or cheddar
Mix together browned ground beef, soups, enchilada sauce, milk, green chiles, and about 3/4 of the crushed Doritos. Top with remaining Doritos and shredded cheese. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
