How is everyone this morning!!??  I need to make strawberry jam today.  That will be the major task.  We'll be going to DD's tonight for dinner. Burgers on the menu   So that should be fun.

Mmmm. Strawberry jam. Let me know when it's ready and I'll make a loaf of fresh bread to go with it.

Happy, Happy 4th of July!

I slept in until 6:45 this morning & it was glorious.  Weather Wise, this is one of the coolest July 4th's we've had in many years.  

I have to get over to Radio Shack this morning and get a new Charging Cord for my Cell Phone.  After 3 years...it's died.  No charging cord, no charged cell phone.   

Other than that, Bob & I will just be hanging out and enjoying America's Birthday!

Hope y'all do the same.

Getting ready to make banana pudding for my sister's cookout this afternoon.  Celebrating the 4th and also four birthdays!  B-in-law is smoking chicken halves....so bbq chicken, potato salad, corn on the cob, etc., etc., etc.  The grands plan to play on the Slip-n-Slide.  About 25 of us will celebrate!

 Hi, Sue and everyone. DH and I have already been out and mowed the back yard before it gets hot although it's pretty warm right now. Going up to 102 today. I've vacuumed already and done a quick laundry.

We're going to a birthday party tonight for our neighbor. His daughter is preparing dinner for his party - I think we're having tacos. Not sure what else.

DH is taking it easy today with his arm now in a sling for his broken collar bone. He gets spurts of sharp pain so he is taking it easy.

That's about all here in Texas. Just trying to stay cool.

I've actually tried to gain weight...I just keep shrinking! I used to be 5' 5" and weigh 130! Now I'm 5' 2" and weigh 110...guess eventually I can be buried in a shoebox! LOL!!

Well if you'd stop losing maybe a few of us would quit finding! LOL
