2 co-workers in the hospital in the past week...........

We're off for the summer but 2 of my co-workers have been in the hospital in the past week:1 with pneumonia, cracked rib, fluid in the lungs and a reaction to the antibiotic she was on   other one was in pain since Wednesday and yesterday had to have surgery for a ruptured appendix.  We don't go back until August 14th so I sure hope they recouperate and get better by then.  Poor things.

Hope they get to feeling better before they have to go back to work. Surgery for a ruptured appendix can be very serious and recuperation time can be long. Depends on your age and how healthy you were before surgery. Also depends on what type of work you do. My DSIL had a ruptured apppendix and it took him quite a while till he felt 100%. He's a software/hardware design engineer so he sits mostly and he was in his late 20's and healthy.
