    Twitter Question

With the understanding that I don't know much about technology ... I just learned how to T9 text on my phone (my OLD, dated phone LOL) and I get confused by my DVR Big Smile ... what is Twitter?  Is it like IM's?  Is it email?  It goes to your cell phone?  Your email?  And why do you want to Twitter (Tweet?) someone?

And why would I want to Twitter (tweet?) my 200 nearest and dearest friends LOL and let them know I'm hankering for a bowl of ice cream?  Or conversely, why would I care that someone is "looking out the living room window"?

Several blogs I read mention "Follow Me On Twitter" and I'm wondering, "Why?" ...

What kind of icecream?  Are you going to have it in a bowl or a cone?  What kind of cone?  If you're having the icrecream in a bowl, what kind of bowl?  Plastic or stoneware?  Is the plastic or stoneware bowl dishwasher-safe?  Do you have a dishwasher?  What brand is it & how often do you use it?

Me thinks you get the idea, Dearest Duck.  I think Twitter comes from a land which has 23 different brands of so-called energy drinks.  And everyone who Twitters has had at least 23 of each kind!  Wink

LOL, Krissy.  That's sort of what I was thinking -- and I want to know who sits in front of the computer, twittering (tweeting?) every single thought that comes into their head.  If I want a bowl of ice cream (and I do Big Smile BlueBell Moo-llenial Crunch is what's calling my name LOL) I don't want to first have to twitter it.  And even if I did, who would care??

I would and do care, Dearest Duck.  I care a great deal.  I want to hear every last detail about your encounter with that thar Blue Bell Moo-llenial Crunch icecream.  I can enjoy it vicariously through your experience.

That icecream name sounds completely exquisite.  Surprise

Happy 4th of July to you & to all of your Dear Ducks! Smile

Krissy, the third one down is the moo-llenial crunch.  And it's too-die-for!

We are all doing well -- both of my kids are in Florence Alabama right now on a domestic missions trip.  DS was supposed to go to Honduras on his first foreign missions trip, but the coup last week sort of changed their plans!

Things are always a laugh a minute here at Chez Duck ... you know how it is, right?  Stick out tongue  I'll shoot you an email sometime this weekend with all the tediously boring details of The Life Of Ducky.  Stick out tongue

I'll be looking forward to it, Dearest Duck!

Thanks for the BlueBell link.  I'm pretty sure we don't have BlueBell Icecream here in ChicagoLand and right now...I'm thinking that's a GOOD thing! Wink

    Happy Sunny Sunday!
