wanted to share this smoothie with everyone. Its a take on Dr. Oz's green drink but I packed more into it and give it to my unhealthy hubby about 3 times a day and he enjoys it. His health is so much better
1 c. spinach, 2 stalks celery deveined, 1/2 inch ginger (or 1/2 tsp), 1 apple with skin on, 1 cucumber with 1/2 skin removed, juice from 1/2 lemon (or 1/2 TBLS), juice from 1 lime or 1 TBLS, 1 or 2 bananas, 1/2 cup parsley, 1 to 1 1/2 cups vanilla yogurt, 1/2 to 1 cup favorite fruit juice.
Sometimes I throw in about 1/2 bell pepper then I add alittle more fruit juice.
Put this all in the blender and really mix it up. It makes about 1/2 gallon which I store in fridge and we drink it in about 2 or 3 days.
