Jackie, I'm glad you got to unwind at Ellie's yesterday. You need to get away and that is the perfect place to go for you. I know you have quite the mess to clean up in the trailer and surrounding areas. I wish I was closer so I could help. G4E needs to be back in CA. All this stress is just not fair. Hugs to you gf.

Sharon, I'm glad you had a good time with the baby. DD used to love fireworks also. They are so wonderous at that age.

BJ - I'm so glad you felt well today and accomplished so much.  Wow, it sounds like you're organized and ready to go!!  You must be getting so excited.

I made some of those Pretzel Sparklers this afternoon.  The recipe where you dip pretzel rods in white chocolate and then red, white, & blue sprinkles.  They are tasty I must say!  BJ - I will make that chocolate banana dessert soon, in the next day or two.  I ran out of time to make that dessert today.  I really don't have a recipe, just how I explained it earlier.  But, yes, after I make them I will let you all know how they turned out.  

I hope everyone has had a good day today.  We had another day of beautiful weather so I'm enjoying it before the muggy weather returns.

I cleaned out the garage over there.He has spilt oil all over the floor,broken glass from the windows they tried climbing through to get in because of losing his keys.They kept telling me someone was trying to break in the garage all the time.Thats a pretty good trick when you see glass on the outside of the garage. If someone was trying to break in,the glass would go inside not out!  I changed the door knob on the garage door and also have a padlock on it. They broke the da_n dishwasher. The spring on the door is broke and the middle inside piece thats in the center of the bottom part that has the propeller looking thing is broke.There is water in the bottom of it so I imagine its clogged or worse.

I dont know how Im going to get the trash out of there.I have no truck to haul to the dump and cant use the SUV.My silverado tags have expired and it has CA plates so thats gonna cost me an arm and a leg to register! UGH I still have the shed with garbage and a dead animal smell in it to clean out!

Think I'll just go crawl in a hole and wish it all to go away! LOL

I need to get my moms strawberry pie made with jello recipe! I've been craving that all day. Best Da_n Pie I've ever had!

Good Night BJ & Everybody!

Well I don't know where that "fiery energy" was hiding today, but I sure didn't find it!  LOL  I got the dishes done, groceries bought and made a batch of cookies.  I then proceeded to sit on the patio the rest of the day just enjoying the weather.   We're having steaks on the grill tonight with garlic-fried potatoes and corn-on-the-cob.  I picked up a ton of fresh fruits (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, cherries, watermelon, nectarines, peaches & tomatoes) from the farmer's market today so the boys will really be thrilled when they open their lunchpails tomorrow!  'Tis the season for them to want mainly fruit cut-up and a bunch of fresh veggies & dip and a chef's salad in their lunchpails instead of heavy sandwiches and soup in a thermos, so that's what they shall get.  Oh!  And a couple of cookies thrown in for good measure.  LOL  I feel like I live in  the "Gatorade Warehouse' today - good grief, with the amount of Gatorade I buy these days, it's unreal.  They both go through 10 of those 20-oz bottles everyday, so needless to say, multiplying that by 2 and then again by 5 - well, you get the picture, I'm SWIMMING in this stuff!  

It's still a little early to start cleaning in earnest (washing floors, rugs & dusting) for Thursday's party, so I think that I'm going to keep a much-needed chiro & massage appointment tomorrow.  It's way past due, at least according to my neck & back anyway.  I've been dealing with a nasty headache all day which I've been trying to ignore and it's not working real well anymore.

Good luck to Miss Chicken's mom on her surgery tomorrow, she's such a sweetie and I wish her a speedy & uneventful recovery!

DS and I have just lounged around the house today. It has been gloomy and dark all day. The sun did pop out twice for about 5 minutes. It has been raining for around 30 minutes. Just a light drizzle.

It was a good day to feel better. I still have quite a list for tomorrow so I'm hoping for a repeat day. The mornings are torture.

Jackie, what a mess they've left you with. I can only imagine your frustration. It would be nice if DH would get his butt up there and help with some of this. When is DS coming up?

Paulette, good idea to keep your appointments tomorrow. As for being fiery, we weren't a slouch today either. Lord, I felt glad just to get the few things done I did today. 

Rosa, lounging is good, unless that's NOT what you want to do. I'm tired of laying on my back. But I'm tired of hurting too. So I'm glad you could lounge for both of us. Thank you. LOL. It was nice and sunny here today. DH took the camper back to the farm since my problem prevented us from camping. Now I can park my car in the driveway.

Jackie - It just might be cheaper in the long run (and you'd get all of the garbage out of there in one trip), to just order a roll-off dumpster.  I'd at least call for pricing, usually they're listed under "Garbage" in the Yellow Pages.   That way you'd be over and done with the whole dang mess once and for all.

BJ...I`m glad your all packed up and ready to go. DH went and picked 2 more gallon of blackraspberries today. He could only pick on the outskirts of the bushes because he hadn`t really planned on picking and wasn`t quite dressed for it.

Paulette...That`s a heck of a lot of Gaterade. I can see where the guys need it when they are working outside in the heat. They really need to be careful and stay hydrated. You take such good care of your men Paulette....LOL...

Jackie.....All I can do is send you hugs friend....(((((HUGS)))))...

We have been on the patio most the afternoon and we are still out here. There`s a beautiful breeze out here. Back to work again tomorrow ugh!!  Actually I have some lab sheets I could be going through for work,but that doesn`t sound like much fun now does it?? I think I would rather sit here with all of you and shoot the bull...LOL....
