How to make my own blue food coloring

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!   I'm in search of a way to make my own blue food coloring.  I purchased the small squeeeze bottles of four food coloring for making Patriotic Cupcakes (recipe on this site), but there is so little coloring in those tiny bottles would like to make my own.  Would you be willing to share your recipe if you have one?  I'd gratefully appreciate your help.  Thank you, and have a great day!!   Sincerely, Joscy

I located this on Recipe Goldmine.  (have not tried either recipe)
    http://www.recipegoldmine.com/scratch/food-colors.html

    Blue #1:
    1/2 head red cabbage, chopped
    1 cup water

Simmer the cabbage and water in a covered enamel or glass pan until the cabbage turns dark green and is just tender. Strain the juice, which will be blue.

    Blue #2:
1/2 cup blueberries, fresh or canned
    Water to cover

For a darker shade of blue, cover the fresh blueberries with water and simmer for 30 minutes. Mash the berries and strain the juice. If using canned blueberries, strain the juice.

Dear Dutchmom,  Thank you so very much for recipe link and also using blueberries/water.  Never gave that technique a thought.   Thank you again for your help.  Sincerely, Joscy (Kathy Joscelyn, Oxford, New York)

You're welcome, Kathy.  If you try either method, please write a review and let us know how it turned out.
