    Biscuit Question

Maybe someone can help me out! I made up a double batch of biscuits to freeze. We use the frozen ones a lot for breakfast, but a lot of the times just one or two at the time. So I thought this would be cheaper and yummier! Problem is when I took them out to bake them (in my toaster oven) they didn't rise! Does anyone know why? Someone told me it might be the baking powder. They said that I might have to use double acting baking powder to do this because with regular baking powder it only rises when its made. With double acting it rises twice. I would greatly appreciate some help on this one, please!!!

    Stephanie,

You might want to look up a recipe for biscuits using some yeast.  I've seen some called angel biscuits - unfortunately I don't have a recipe to share with you.  These use a combination of baking powder and yeast.
