    Sunbeam food steamer

My mother-in-law gave me a food steamer...........anyone have one of these?  Do you use it enough to merit keeping and storing?  Thanks in advance for your input.

Somebodygave me one as a gift. I used it 2-3 times and did not like it.

I have been using the foldable stainless steel ones that fit different size pots for almost 50 yrs and prefer them. They hardly take up any room and you can still buy them for just a few dollars.

They only thing you can't steam in them is rice but I guess you could try. I have calways ooked rice on top of the stove  and do oretty good even without measuring. Since I am alone it does not matter if it is always perfect or not.

thanks for the reply grelo............I think I'll try it, but I have a feeling it'll be more trouble than it's worth.....  It may end up in my next yard sale.  Smile
