Good morning Dear Friends in Tea. Exhaustion finally overtook me last night, but I am happy to report that a lovely nights sleep has refreshed and energized me. I can't wait to begin the Wednesday celebration. From having cement overshoes, I think I sprouted wings! This of course means that I will have to take on a few projects I thought...too disposable, like washing windows, and grocery shopping. It's interesting to note what falls away easily and what remains when you are in a muddle. While I am catching up, please come and have a cup of tea. Life is beautiful and blessings abundant.
It's a little soggy outside but its warm and dry inside. The convenience of premade fireplace logs really sets a fine mood. If you are in the neighborhood, the door is open and you are very welcome to come and enjoy a bit of conversation.
Dear Susan, I hope and pray, every day that you and Marcella find ease and comfort. We are due some high winds and heavy rain for friday, but that is such a long way away. I hope your weather settles down and that the sun shines right where you are.
I saw lovely photos of a Dutch village that has no roads, just canals. How strange it would be to boat everywhere! I don't think it would be easy to overshop, as you would have to carry it all. I think it inconvenient to bring things from the car in my driveway, lol.
Dear Susie, With the mention on the news of snow, I am wondering how Cincin will take to it. How are the newlyweds?
Dear LisaFaye, Is your DH still involved with photography? Perhaps the little river has more water flowing than usual?
Dear Carolyn, Yesterday I looked for pansies at the fruit and flower market but there wasn't any at all. I think I might have to settle for the few mums I have planted and gather my efforts for the spring.
Dear Anne, I hope you, Howard and Erica are doing well. Is Erica still involved in selling real estate? Property values here are much lower. Do you find that the case in Washington as well?
Dear Carole, Have a splendid day at work, and don't forget a travel cup of tea.
Dear Elza, The last you spoke DH was ill. I hope he has recovered well and that you are happily busy.
Your very grateful, and happy hostess, Mary
