Re: Good Morning Dear Friends in Tea, October 1st, Sweeping out the dust and cobwebs,

How you must be rejoicing ,Mary.  The waiting seemed so long even to me, and I know it was for you and family.  Healing, HMMMMMMMMM, those prayers sure can work, can't they?  I am just elated that you have received very good news indeed.  Wow, indeed. A load off all our shoulders.  Sunny smiles all around.  I just felt it was going to be so.  PTL for goodness and mercy.

Very bright and sunny day here, and because we had so much rain to keep them moist, our little city is full of gold, red, orange and every color of yellow you can imagine.  A very pretty autumn array of colors.  My pansies look so cute.  We had a light frost last night, but it did not phase them.

DGD, dgSil and baby Jack are coming down from Wichita to pick up Jack's costume that DD made for him.  So DH is fixing steaks for everyone, and what a nice day for that.  By the way, Jack is going to be an Elf for Halloween.  At 9 mos. he does not know elf from nothing but he looks so cute.

Again, I just feel like shouting Hallelujah for Mary!

Re: Good Morning Dear Friends in Tea, October 1st, Sweeping out the dust and cobwebs,

Mary, I am sharing my relieve for you with the stressful wait you had this week, and you can take a deep breath. Thinking of you and wish you lots of good warm blessings.

I am still on my toes (not ballet) with Marcella and wish the numbness was in her toes instead of her throat, what a scary place that is. One day worse than the other, thinking, should I take her to ER  or not. This all should pass, she is still in good spirits. Making some spaghetti and put in blender for her.Lots of gravies and lots of juicy foods for her.

We had such high winds today with gusts up to 50 miles an hour still some tomorrow too we have some doctor appointments.

    Wish all a lovely evening,

    Hugs Susan

Susan and Marcella, you are both in my prayers! I hope the wind lets up for you, too! It must be so scary for her to have those throat problems :(

Glory be, dear Mary - lifting a cup to your good news. What a relief to read your words and share in your joy. A heavy weight has been lifted from your heart and all of ours also as we poured out our prayers. Rest well tonight.

Re: Good Morning Dear Friends in Tea, October 1st, Sweeping out the dust and cobwebs,

Good morning Dear Friends in Tea. Exhaustion finally overtook me last night, but I am happy to report that a lovely nights sleep has refreshed and energized me. I can't wait to begin the Wednesday celebration. From having cement overshoes, I think I sprouted wings! This of course means that I will have to take on a few projects I thought...too disposable, like washing windows, and grocery shopping. It's interesting to note what falls away easily and what remains when you are in a muddle. While I am catching up, please come and have a cup of tea. Life is beautiful and blessings abundant.

It's a little soggy outside but its warm and dry inside. The convenience of premade fireplace logs really sets a fine mood. If you are in the neighborhood, the door is open and you are very welcome to come and enjoy a bit of conversation.

Dear Susan, I hope and pray, every day  that you and Marcella find ease and comfort. We are due some high winds and heavy rain for friday, but that is such a long way away. I hope your weather settles down and that the sun shines right where you are.

I saw lovely photos of a Dutch village that has no roads, just canals. How strange it would be to boat everywhere! I don't think it would be easy to overshop, as you would have to carry it all. I think it inconvenient to bring things from the car in my driveway, lol.

Dear Susie, With the mention on the news of snow, I am wondering how Cincin will take to it. How are the newlyweds?

Dear LisaFaye, Is your DH still involved with photography? Perhaps the little river has more water flowing than usual?

Dear Carolyn, Yesterday I looked for pansies at the fruit and flower market but there wasn't any at all. I think I might have to settle for the few mums I have planted and gather my efforts for the spring.

Dear Anne, I hope you, Howard and Erica are doing well. Is Erica still involved in selling real estate? Property values here are much lower. Do you find that the case in Washington as well?

Dear Carole, Have a splendid day at work, and don't forget a travel cup of tea.

Dear Elza, The last you spoke DH was ill. I hope he has recovered well and that you are happily busy.

Your very grateful, and happy hostess, Mary

Mary, I'm sure that all of that worry and anxiety wore you right out! So happy to hear that you had a restful night -- may they continue!

I'll be posting the wedding pics tonight or in the morning. Not sure if I should break them up into several posts or try to get them all on one. That may be difficult for those on dial-up!

    xoxo

Good evening to all.  Mary, you must have had delicious sleep last night-as I am sure your rest has not been restful waiting for news.  This Thanksgiving will be 14 yrs. since I received the diagnosis I was so dreading, and here I still am!  So glad you do not have to worry about it any longer.  As I am so glad for each new Thanksgiving that roll 'round.  We are both bless in many ways.  No matter what the meal, won't you have the BEST Thanksgiving this yr. and hereafter?

We have had a few lovely days and have been promised a nice Halloween night for the children.  No matter what the weather after that, I am getting myself ready.  At least that is what I am "playing like". lol

    Good evening tea Angels,

It is a cold and rainy day here in Mass.  My pump in the cellar came on today after not being needed for a few months. Oh well.Tomorrow a man from our heating company is coming to discuss a new new furnace.  I don't know if we need it but i don't want to find out in January.

Mary, I was thrilled with you good news.  What a relief for you!

Suzy, can't wait to see thwe wedding pictures.

I hope everyone else had a grat day.

    Sweet dreams,

    Hello friends,

stopping in to say hello to see how you are doing....some of you I have found through our online networking giant, facebook :)

Things are well on my end....I'm sad to admit my sister is moving to Atlanta soon.....we are all sad to see her leave her home.....

My mom and I are still gardening like crazy, we started a CSA last year called VIP, where we raise and harvest vegetables for families in our area.  Pretty FUN stuff!

I'm having a tea party on Sunday Dec 6th, for the holidays...should be tons of fun!!!

Hoping all is well...waving a big hello

    Have a lovely day!

Re: Good Morning Dear Friends in Tea, October 1st, Sweeping out the dust and cobwebs,

Good Morning Dear Friends in Tea. Today's party is dedicated to the lovely world of possibility and taking our wild stallion, Chance by the reins...for a ride.

The flu is quite an issue and just thinking about which line, where to join takes some planning. We are on stand-by for a little cue, that might make that easier. I do hope the situation is not as difficult in your corner of the world.

We are expecting sunshine and mild temperatures for one more day, so its my mission to have a little fun while I can. A new restaurant has opened in Frankenmuth featuring a sidewalk cafe style and hand held crepes. That scenerio wouldn't intrigue me in a snowstorm and I don't want to wait til spring. Waiting is harder than anything.

If you do have to wait, I hope its with good company and a cup of tea. Your very grateful hostess and friend, Mary

Re: Good Morning Dear Friends in Tea, October 1st, Sweeping out the dust and cobwebs,

Hello All Tea Angels,  I am just waiting for rain and thunder to cease this morning.  Nothing I need to go out for today, so the wait will be fine.

Sam, my little Yorkie Boy has run into some complications after his surgery.  Yesterday was a scarey day with some bleeding when he would urinate-quite a lot.  The Vet said bring him back today if not better.  He must have heard, because he is better this morn so far.  He shakes so and gets upset at the Vet.

We had a funeral at church for a friend and then with Sammy's problems, I did not sleep well last night.  So it is a good thing nothing is pressing because I feel rather like a wet noodle today.  Not eager to set the World on fire so to speak.

I am so glad that retirement lets me do as I pretty much feel like.  Blessings to all today as your plans take shape.  Make it a good day however you can.  Carolyn

Re: Good Morning Dear Friends in Tea, October 1st, Sweeping out the dust and cobwebs,

Carolyn, I am feeling kind of like you this morning, due to waking up at 4:00 before having to get up at 5:15. However, I don't have anywhere I have to be until late this afternoon so I can just be a noodle! Sounds like you are ready for Halloween -- our forecast is unfortunately for rain & thunderstorms on Saturday. Appropriate for the season but not so great for the kids.

Donelle, good to see you again! Your tea party sounds wonderful -- you know we want to hear all about it.

Mary, thanks for asking about DH. He was not really sick, just feeling a little puny due to stress and not sleeping well -- better now. This is his busiest time of year at work, but in a few weeks that will be behind him.
