Now do you mean largest as in size or largest as in the most harvested?  If it is size I would say watermelon as I can't think of anything bigger.  For the most harvested I think maybe apples if you can include crabapples since even they will grow where I live....

On second thought it could also be grapes since there is an awful lot of wine consumed the world over.  Of course you can make wine out of things other than grapes but come to think of it even they will grow here with our short growing season but I am not sure how good they taste for eating out of hand...
