Kris, I missed you, we must have been typing at the same time!  That roast sounds lovely!

You are making me want to see some college football, girl!  I love going to games, not watching them on TV!  Have a super time, I'm envious!

Dusta, I forgot to say, how nice of you about the tip - that happened to us once in the mall, I thought hubs left the tip and he thought I did ... as we were walking around we talked about what a nice lunch it had been and then he says "did you leave enough for a tip?" and I just looked at him ... back we went!  HAHAHA  I agree with Kris that I like to be able to leave a nice tip if the service is good.  The servers have such a hard job!  I was a cocktail waitress once and oh man, was that a drama!  But, the tips sure got bigger as the night went on!  HAHA

     CoffeeGood morning everyone - - - -
I've been up since 5:00 - - - - -with the great hunters stirring and all..............
I have probably drank a pot of coffee by now........  Oh well..........
I did make some Banana Nut Muffins - - - had some banana's in the frig that desperatly needed something done to them.
Looks like it's going to be a nice coolish - fall looking day out there.

Rebbecca - your soup sounds yummy.  I love soup.  I have a whole bunch of beef soup bones in the freezer too - - - after we bought that organic beef - there were a lot of bones included.
I made one pot of soup with some of them so far - - - - first time I had ever done that - - and it made the soup so much better than usual.  Had lot's of compliments around here about it.
SO must have made a difference.
LOL about the little girl not getting the concept of sleeping in.  She should have been here with me this morning - we would have kept each other entertained.

Kris - have fun today - - - sounds like you are going to!

Dusta - I SO respect Mel - and others like him.  You are right - - - people this day and time don't always 'get it' - - - - -
We are a free country because of people like Mel.
My FIL is Mel's age - - - he marched right behind Patton.  What cool stories he can tell - - - some he won't talk about.  Understandably.
I admire you too - for going back to bring the tip to the restaurant.

Well, need to go 'tend' to all of my little animals.
They don't like hunting season - - - - even if they don't hear any gun shots - - - somehow they know.  I wonder how the deer feel about it all..............
    I know - I eat deer meat - - - - - but I still couldn't shoot one - - - - - - unless maybe my kids were real hungry.
Hope I never have to find out.

    Waving to you all -
    Have a great Saturday - - -

    Good Morning Ladies....

    Active morning huh?

Regarding tipping... so nice of you guys to go back Dusta. Here, tips are not really considered a part of the wages. I know in NC you could pay someone very much under min. wage because tips were considered "wage". Here in WA... min wage is 8.55 and that is for everyone. Tips dont get included, though I know, they are very important :)

Rebecca, thats crazy about the 89.00 budget for each kid. That really isnt realistic is it? Just thinking back to being that age... it must be hard for the teenager, to be uprooted, and not have makeup. I wouldnt have gone to school without it. LOL

Kris, have fun at the game!

Waving hello to everyone! Off to watch some Everybody Loves Raymond and eat my cereal.

Just had to tell this. When I was out on the bike this morning saw a friend, talked a few minutes and she said she was going home to cook breakfast, french toast for her DH. I knew she didn't eat that and she said she was going to have oatmeal and boiled eggs,  mixed together with salt and pepper. She said she had that most mornings, also said she was an egg wh***. Have you ever heard of that? It is the strangest of eating things together that I have ever heard. It is something I am not curious about.

I did ride yesterday too, not as long as this morning. By afternoon I am lazy. One of those that have lots of energy in the mornings, but as the day goes on......................

     Good evening -
I just got back from a long visit with Mom.
Poor thing - she got it in her head that my cousin died and they just went and buried him without a funeral and she was all upset.
Of course, none of this even happened.
My cousin lives there where she does - - - and he is just gone for the day for a visit with his Mom.
    Sad.
Got her pretty much calmed down - - - -but won't be surprised if I get a call.

Dusta - we used to put an egg white in our oatmeal - to add protein to the meal.
But it was a raw egg white - mixed in before it was cooked - - - then we add sweet stuff, like honey cinnamon   whatever - - - maybe a little salt.  I have never put pepper on mine.  Think my ds has though.
I'm like you - I have lots of energy in the mornings - - - - hardly ever exercise in the evening.

    I'm behind on my water intake - - - - -Embarrassed
Trying to play catch up and drink it all now - - - does that still count.LOL

Dusta, ewwwwwwww on your friend's breakfast ... you are not supposed to put hard boiled eggs in oatmeal!  UGH!  HAHAHA  Oatmeal is supposed to be sweet!  I don't mind hardboiled eggs, but ... I guess if I really needed the protein I would eat them first or separate or something ... I'm with you, I don't wanna try that either!

I'm lazy after lunch ... nice time to take a quick nap!

it's late now, so nighty night!
