Looking for a Green Bean Casserole recipe with Almonds

Was wondering if anyone has a recipe that they would share for a Green Bean Casserole with Almonds in it.  I'm not sure if it would be like the original Green Bean Casserole and just add almonds or not.  Would appreciate anyone sharing their recipe if they have one...Thanks!

Thanks Red Savage........the first one is more like something I am looking for.......it is a casserole dish.......the second one sounds more like Green Beans Almondine. My daughter had this dish and loved it........it's a little different than the traditional Green Bean Casserole.

Does anyone have a tried and true recipe they could share???

    1 medium onion, diced

    1/2 cup margarine, melted

1 sleeve Town 'House crackers, crushed

    garlic powder to taste

    salt to taste

    4 oz slivered almonds

In casserole dish, layer as followers: green beans and corn.  Then mix water chestnuts, soup, sour cream and onion together' put on top.  Then layer cheese, crackers, margarine and almonds.

Sorry, I just read the recipes Red-Savage posted and this is almost identical to the first one on her post, except that one calls for frozen beans.
