     Good Morning...

Looks like the Phillies are still in the game.  Wonder if the series will go right down to the wire?  Always makes it exciting.

DWTS was so good last night.  They all did soooo good.  It will be hard to see who goes home.

I have early morning care this morning....so need to be there at 7:45.  I think I'll stop at Tim Horton's for tea.  They make much better tea than I do.  And I was coughing all night long.  It seems to be getting worse instead of better.

Hi Applek....hope the barn is heated.

Gotta get with it and finish getting ready.  BBL

Good morning Grannies. It is still dark of course but the weather seems to be good for today.
37* going to 52*. Cooler than yesterday but sunny so I won't complain. No plans for the day, just going to wing it.
Apple----Better dress warm in case the barn is cold.   Guess they need a large area to spread out the furniture they will sell.
CJ----Early out the door this morning. Hot tea would be soothing to the throat. Take care that the cough doesn't get you down.
I am sitting here watching a Japanese Beatle crawl around and around the rim of last nights coffee cup. Industrious little bugger. Wish I had some of that energy. LOL         BBL

    Good morning, grannies.

Aha! I saw those pluses this morning and I said, KATHIE opened the door, today. So, what' this? You're working in a barn. Watch where you step. LOL

CJAY, happy, also, that the Phillies "done good". DWTS was good, but I see Michael and Kelly leaving. But, all have sure improved. Enjoy the tea at TH's.

SUZI, beetle has energy, but he's going around in circles. Bright night we had due to the Beaver Moon. Hoping something fun happens when you wing it.

Home today, but busy with something the following days. Better get back to another set of 5's. The first set was a quick and easy one. BBL

Good morning Grannies!  It's cool but not as cold as yesterday.  I'm leaving in 1/2 hour to go do this laundry.  I hope that no one is there and I can get in and out.  But if it's packed I guess I'll just go to WM and bum around till time to go to work.

I had a gingerbread pop tart this morning.  Boy I do like them.  They are seasonal and I had forgot about them until I saw them at WM.  Another find at WM, in the Christmas section (yes it's up and going) they have a spray that smells exactly like a Christmas tree.  Years ago I had got some somewhere and loved it especially with having an artificial tree.  I got some and sprayed the curtains and oh it smells so good.  It is in with the candles and looks like a bottle of perfume.  It isn't in an aerosol can.  Anyway DH works on the tree farm now and we get a real tree every year but I can't smell them.  I can smell the scent on DH's clothes but can't the tree.  Go figure.  So this year, it will smell like pine in the house.

It is a funny shade of yellow outside.  Not red in the morning, so what does yellow in the morning mean?

Guess I'd better go get my lunch ready (spaghetti soup) and look in that mirror one last time and get ready to go.

    See you all later!

     Good Morning Ladies -

First off, I want to ask Nancy what a Beaver Moon is?  Don't think that's one I heard before.

I have to agree with Michael and Kelly leaving - - I have really enjoyed Michael the last 2 or 3 weeks though.  I never really did warm up to Kelly.  It gets hard to see and also guess who leaves when it gets this far.  Will it be back to one leaving next week?  I will miss next week, as we will be decorating the hall for the fantasy.

Cjayh, that bug has been living at your house for too long - Hope the tea drowns it!

Suzi, you probably spend just as much energy watching and imagining crawling along with that beatle.  Have a good day.

Apple, maybe they don't want people coming to look through the house - Anyway, I hope you can stay warm - - Hope the smell is okay too!

Have a meeting tonight - printed out the bank statement last night, so did a quick balance on that before I came here - ready to go .  Should be a short meeting, as we have give all of our money away for the year, and just have some year end bookkeeping things to take care of - must submit mileage and volunteer hours.

Well, coffee is good, must see what I can find for breakfast - Think it will be peanut butter toast  -  I'll share!

Good morning all.  It feels colder than the 46* it says.  Supposed to get to 69.  We have a really nice fire in the fireplace.  DH has been splitting wood this week.  DS built a wood splitter that lifts the logs off the ground and splits them.  Makes it so much easier.  We have coffee and hot tea with lemon this morning.  Looking forward to ladies day out with friends from church today.

It's city election day, so need to head out a little early and vote first - or IF it's too busy, I can always do it before my meeting tonight - both are at church.  Just thought I'd save some phone calls if I did it early.

Gooooooood Mooooorrrring Grannies. It feels SO good to be cool and have the windows opened. Nice, not cold. Girls were up and done by 7:30; heaven to murgatroy, as we use to say.

Apple: Thanks for the coffee...would be cute if it drop one cup as the Grannies took it wouldn't it. Have fun playing in the barn.

Cjah: Makes for an early morning but would you rather that then in the afternoon?

Suzi: Enjoy your entertainment on the cup but I'll skip sitting with you until he leaves. I need some throat reliever too. Coughed all night again; more so then sitting up, so maybe I should sit up to sleep.

Atv: You're a busy beaver today and the next few also. You and Grammy will be to pooped to pop.

Justme: Isn't that just the way. We get real trees down here from up north but the don't smell; the youth always have a greeery sale sometime this month to order them and when I get it I take a deep smell..but nada I wonder why. Maybe because we're too close.

Gb: What do you do that they have to give away some money; can you send it here.:)

Cleo: It's ladies night at church tonight also; I need to figure out what I want to make. Oh Yeah, so much easier on your DH's body too. I wish my DS had one; his back isn't good to be splitting wood. Enjoy the fire...bb

MusicMusicSchool day, school day, good ole golden rule day, reading and writing and 'rithmetic, taught to the tune of the hickory stick..MusicMusic  It's that day of the week so I'll be heading to school.  I'll stop at the voting polls on my way home.  It's a cool but very sunny 35º right now.

CLEO  Anytime a group of ladies have a day out is a good one.  Enjoy it!!

GREENBACK  Tonight is another "decision" night on DWTS and I'm with you, I'd be ok with Kelly leaving.  JMO

JUSTME  I'm not a fan of poptarts but I bet those with the ginger flavor would be very good.  Do you like molasses cookies?

ATV  I'm also curious as to what a Beaver Moon is.  Have a wonderful day. Is your DH still doing well?

SUZI  Have you been working on a quilt?  I need to work on mine again real soon.  I still don't have all the cutting done.

CJ Maybe a trip to the Dr. for some medicine is in order???  I know, we all hate to go but sometime it's the wise thing to do.  Enjoy the tea.

APPLE Inquiring minds want to know, just what is a barn sale? one in a barn?? or in a barn converted into a house???

SHARONB  Brrrr, no windows open here.  You know, we do forget so quickly how warm we felt this summer and enjoyed opening the house.

    Good Morning Grannies,

DH is getting our truck serviced, you know the usual 1000 or 3000 mile servicing?  When he gets back we're off to the polls.  Hope we vote somwone in that will reduce our taxes.  Word this morning that our electric company is raising rates AGAIN!

After voting, I'll start baking, today and tomorrow.  I'll still have time for "alittle" house work and "some" sewing.

Suzi, I meant to tell you that I was looking thriugh an Amish/Mennonite cookbook and there it was.  The Andy Boy (?) pie you mentioned.  It said it was common to that area, which I guess would be PA/Ohio.

Well, I have to run and get ready by the time DH returns.  SYL

    Good morning grannies,

I am off early today have to work early as the other person is sick and then I have Jameson this afternoon, so a full day for me.

Apple, colder here today too, bundle up to be in the barn.   Thanks for the coffee.

CJ, I agree, too hard to call who will be leaving DWTS, don't want to see any of them go.   Take care of yourself today.

Suzi, I have only seen 2 os those beetles in the house and not industrious ones.

ATV, I've got things going this week also, never enough time for all the 5's.

Justme, love that Christmas tree smell, may have to try that spray.

Jane, Why do all of us banking girls always become treasurer's of something?

Cleo, ladies day sounds like fun - enjoy.

Sharonb, I will be down in your area in another week, keep the good weather pleaseeeee.

Stylist, singing on your way to school makes for a happy day.

Good Morning. Beautiful sunshine, but a few sprinkles coming later in the day. Then nice for the rest of the week. Sept. was our warmest on record, Oct. was our second coldest on record, with no temp over 60*. So wondering just what Nov. will be bringing. Just hope it isn't the snowiest on record! Crop report is only 33% of beans are out, which is usually done by mid-Sept., and only 15% of the corn. It could be very disastrous for a lot of farmers!

CJ, that game was a heart stopper in the 8th inning!

Suzi, are you referring to my L-bug friends? LOL

Nancy, our weatherman always tells us what Moon it is. It was so bright two nights ago, I had to get up and close my mini-blinds. Couldn't sleep with so much light!

Wanda, too early for me to think of Christmas, but I see they have started with the ads on tv as of Nov. 1.  Just hate that!

Jane, are you doing a special thing for the Fantasy?

Cleo, we buy slab wood to burn in our furnace and don't have to split any, just saw it to short lengths with the buzz saw.

SharonB, enjoy church night with the ladies.

Hi Stylist and Grammy. Have good days.

Liny, you need to buy a chef hat with all your baking!

Glee, banking girls become treasurer's and writing girls become secretaries. I've had that job for our churchwomen and for my Circle!  And for other groups over the years. LOL

Maybe a little cleaning today and maybe some quilt sewing.

Good morning. So far it's still nice and sunny. The last couple of days have been nice and dry and even a fair amount of sunshine. We worked in the yard most of Sunday and Monday. Have almost 30 bags down by the curb. Usually the leaves get spread out over a couple of weeks but the rain made everything drop at the same time. I "almost" feel sorry for our garbage man.

Apple have fun at the "barn". Barns need to be sold too and sometimes they can have some interesting stuff in them.

Cjayh when you start early do you also get to leave early?

ATV the first set of 5 in the morning is really quick and easy here too. It's getting through the next set that takes a little energy.

Justme I can never smell the tree either. The tree in a can would be great.

Sharon the wood splitting is a lot of work but it's warmer andsmells so nice.

    Stylist enjoy your "school" day.

Grammy we're done with the leaf picking up in the back and the front will have some come and go for awhile yet. We have one neighbor that rakes his leaves into piles and then leaves them on his hill. Personally I think he does that so that they blow better.

Hi to all that came in the door while I was typing. But, I had better get goin with my walk so I can try to get something else done.

Hope everyone has a good day.
