I just finished my first set of PT for today & thought I'd stop in and say Hello and Thank You for all of your Good Thoughts and Prayers.  It'll be one week Post Op tomorrow and I'm hanging in there. 

 

FWIW...Hubba, Hubba House DOES have the right idea with that thar Vicodin.

Better than I was yesterday but not as good as I will be tomorrow, Sweet Sue.    That's become my new motto...that and Give Me My Pain Medication.  Now.

It truly is, Dear Teresa.  With that said, though, I went from 11 last night until 8:30 this morning for my dose of Norcol (???) It's Vicodin with a kick, I think. 

 

Found out I have 14 staples on the new hip.  Haven't seen it yet...no big rush for that truth to tell.

 

Hey, ICU!  Had my left hip swapped out for a new, improved model.  I'm hoping I'll get a goodly amount of time on the new parts!

I'm so glad to hear you're improving everyday!  I'm sure it's difficult, but you're a tough cookie - no doubt in my mind that you'll come through this with flying colors!
