    Coffee  Good Morning Everyone!!  Coffee

Coffee  It is that time of day, again....TIME TO SERVE THE COFFEE!!!  Coffee  Grab a mug and share the coffee with me...Along with the coffee comes well wishes for a good day, good health and lots of happiness to all of you!!!   Coffee

Marge, I just got up, but am tired all over again reading all that you have going on!!! LOL I am sure you will love your new carpet..I am sorry you hurt your knee...hope it is better today!! That must be awful having to drive so far to get your car fixed, but like Doris says,  it is a good excuse to eat lunch and supper out....LOL  Take care and please take some time to rest..

Doris, I hope you can get your H1N1 shots today. One lady, about the same age as me, said yesterday, that if she knew, what the effects of exercising would do for a person, she would have started exercising 20 years ago...LOL  I might go down this morning, if I can get away.   Walking on the treadmill goes faster if people are there and talking...Hope you got a good nights rest.

Deb, how are things with you?? How are you feeling??? Sending you lots of hugs and well wishes...

Susan,  I hope you are feeling better this morning.

Good Morning, Michelle, if you peek in!!

Not sure what is on for today.  Mom seemed to feel better last night, so hopefully today will be an okay day too.  Ron left early for his blood test and will be back home soon wanting coffee.  If things go well this AM, I just might wash the living room curtains..I have a new pair of drapes to put up on the picture window and am anxious to see  what they look like.

Wishing you all a GREAT Wednesday!!

    Hugs,

    Mary

Good Morning Shrl!!  Sorry to hear about your sinus problems...Mom and I have them too and know how annoying they can be. I hope you and your hubby feel better soon.

    Good morning all.

Mary, I didn't even notice that you had greeted us with the wrong day!!LOL  But, you are so right about the time just flying.  Where does it go?

Sorry that Ron is in your way of hanging the new curtains.  Men!!!!!   Glad that your mom was feeling better last night and hope that continues throughout today.  I really miss exercising. I"ve been doing it so faithfully for the past7 years, so this is really hard on me.  I can literally watch the flab coming back, and we won't even mention the weight gain!!  sigh

Shrl, sorry you and your dh are under the weather.  This time of year is so bad for allergies and sinus.  Heck, anymore, it seems like there is no good time of year.

I'm just going to wave to everyone else.  I am hanging in there, just waiting for Mon and the Cath.  I called the Dr office since I hadn't heard anything about when my appt with the next specialist is, and they have no idea.  Someone has dropped the ball in their scheduling!  Good thing I decided to call and check on it.  They have me down as needing the first available for this Dr, and here it is a week later and no appt!

We are having some cold weather, and the rain is more on than off.  Hope we have the nice weekend they are forecasting.

Off to run some errands and then I'll check in our my workout buddies and make sure they are working hard!!!LOL

    Later all,.

    Good morning, everyone.

It's chilly, but we do have sunshine.

MARY, I'm like you, seem to do better cleaning and getting things done when everyone is out of the room or gone. If Russell going shopping, I can zip around like nobody's business. Hope you get those curtains up. Could be mom will have a good day. And, then you will, too.

SHRL, man, sinus problems can get us down. So far, not bothering me this year. How's the puppy doing?

Thinking of DEB. Anything new for us to hear?

MARGE, hoping the men will get that carpet done in time for you to get to your app't. Tons of mags to toss here, too. I give them to the Lutheran HS rummage sale and they do sell.

DORIS, getting the swine flu shot is being suggested here for caregivers, too. My IL DD works in a hospital and had to get one, too. Otherwise the nose spray is being given to mostly children.

SUSAN, maybe today will the day you feel more chipper.

Sending a HI to CAROL, LORRAINE, ROBERTA and REBECCA.

HAUKE, you had that multitasking errand and Bible study day and I hope it all worked out.

Church Sr. Meeting and lunch, today. Church services, tonight.

Hugs and prayers for you all.

Nancy – Tuesday night, somebody told me they were predicting snow flurries for Wednesday, but I don’t think it did snow … just rain showers.  We both lead such exciting lives. *lol*

Hauke – Did you get your errands run yesterday?

Mary – Yes, the carpet cleaners did make it.  They did an okay job.  My “contract” was up, but I didn’t renew it.  I do have a shampooer but I just don’t use it.  I will now though.  Having it done is nice, but it is so expensive.  I'm glad your mother is feeling better.

Susan – I’m sorry to hear you aren’t feeling well.  I hope you are feeling better very soon.  I think there are so many “bugs” running around right now.  And with our weather, the temps keep going up and down, so many people are sick.

Marge – They really got the carpet up fast.  I hope your knee is better today.  If not, you might want to call the doctor.  You wear me out reading your post.  I hope the van got fixed this time.

Doris – Congratulations on the weight loss.  That's great.  I hope you are able to get the H1N1 shot today.

Shirley – I wondered where you've been.  I hope you get over the "bug" soon.  I've heard that some of the stuff going around really takes a while to get over.

Deb – how frustrating that your dr. appointment didn't get scheduled.

I had some things I needed to get done this morning.  That's done, so now I can take a break.
We have another sunny day this morning.  I think it is supposed to be like this through the weekend, too.

    Morning!

I saw Mary's post ... and thought she's found a way to slow down the world.  She'd be making millions .... no billions ... if she had.  Too bad for you Mary.  Great opportunity though.   Big Smile

Got all my errands done and then had an incredible Bible study.  We're studying healing right now.  Learning some great things.   Did you know that God wants His church to be drug free?  I think that's an interesting concept and I'm willing to learn more.

I order the blinds for both my bedroom and the living room.  I'm getting some creamy colored 2" wooden blinds for the bedroom.  My furniture is creamy and so is the new chair.  For the living room, Rebecca preferred the 1" venetian - so they were ordered in that metal venetian in a color that blends well with the wall the window is on.  Our goal here is for the venetians to "disappear" as we plan to sew some chocolate brown panels for those windows... and we want the panels to be the prominent accent feature for the windows.   Didn't want to bring in another color, so stayed with the wall color.

Since both sets are made in the US and shipped up here, the said it would be 3-4 weeks.  As long as they are up by Christmas was my thinking ... so we should have plenty of time for that.

Well, I have to start and finish a "graphics project" for a client today - so I guess I'd better quit chatting and get to work.

    Hauke

Deb - I'm so glad you called the office.  Too often "we fall between the cracks" because we don't follow up.

Have you seen the news about the shootings at Ft. Hood, in Tx...?? Gosh, this is so awful... Matt and Mattie had just came home from Ft. Hood before the shootings started...My son was in shock to say the least, but left to get his older dd out of school, since she was not on lock down.  So many people on the BB have families living in Fort Hood and I do pray that they are all safe.

Hauke, I can not believe that it is almost time for you to say, TGIF!!!!!!!  Time just goes by so fast...

I did the living room curtains today...Big job done... The room looks nice...

Deb, I am so glad you call the office and got your appointments...  The cancer doctor gave Mom the wrong paper for a standing order for blood work every two months...He put Arnold Dippold' name on Moms sheet...LOL  Is he mixed up or what..

Wishing you ALL a Good restful peaceful evening.

Re: DC Conversation - Thursday, November 5

Oh my, each of us sure has to advocate for ourselves when it comes to health problems and tests, meds, etc.   I have to call next week about the paper for dh's big, necessary, blood tests, they used to mail them to us, and after the last appt. they could have given it to us there, but didn't either.   Then they sent in a prescription a month too early, and that was the end of it, I think they put dh's paperwork away and forgot.   I spend so much time on the phone already about that danged H1N1, but we did get the shots.  The Health Dept. was shorted over 1,000 units of vaccine though.  We only get a once a week newspaper, so barely anyone knew about these shots being there, so I lucked out that I had emailed the Health Dept. over a week ago, just inquiring about the shots.   Had to have a doctor note though, and they questioned me several times as to my "caregiving" of dh..........heck, child care people had to get the shots too.

That shooting is scary too Mary, I would have been so worried, as you were.   Glad you got your new drapes put up.   We just have mini blinds, but we don't look out to the front at all here, just the back.

Nancy, I used to rush around and clean when the "coast was clear" around here, lol.   We want to buy another vacuum, have a Sears one that is so darned heavy and hard to push, dh hates it, and I do too!!!   Want to get a simple one that doesn't use bags and is lighter.   What kind do you like?

Joyce, sounds like your weather is beginning to change.  So the carpet people are raising rates again too, especially this time of year, I can imagine them doing that though.   At least it's done for awhile again.

hauke, you guys are designers I think, matching colors and planning ahead, just like professionals.   Do you watch HGTV??

Deb, I'm wishing your medical group there would get on the ball, sounds like too many cooks spoiling the broth there.   Do you ever write down names of the one's that don't do their job right?  Your story would be a good tale for someone to write a newspaper article of how health care goes wrong and takes way too long.   They have dragged you along, boy oh boy.    One time, when dh was in the hospital, I had to grab the doctor by the coat before he could leave to get his attention, but then he did listen to me, they were messing dh up there for awhile.  Can your dh put a few choice words in?  Sometimes they listen better to a man I've noticed.

Hi Shrl, is there smoke or fog around where you live, perhaps that is causing problems with the sinuses too.   We do have some smoke here in the AM when the woodstoves are going, but a breeze usually comes in later on.

We need to go down to the valley tomorrow, this computer I got from my brother is having bad problems so dh thinks I should get a new one that I can count on when we need it.   So are driving 2 hrs. down to a Wal Mart and getting something new, and our son will install it on the 14th., if he doesn't have to work that is.    If I'm not on at some point, it's because I couldn't get this machine to work.

    Doris
