wow- what a bunch of earlybirds here! Makes me feel like I missed the boat out here on the west coast.
Kelly- hope you can find a resolution to the Thanksgiving issue with your dad. I don't know your family, and family can really put you over the edge at times- but after parents get to a certain age, you cherish the good days they have, because they get fewer and fewer over time. My dad is 84- and I hope he lives to 124- I will never have enough days with him. My moms emotional health is declining rapidly- so I count the good days we can spend together as a blessing.
Jenn- go to the parent teacher meeting- I bet they will have wonderful things to say about your kids- and that will make you so proud.
BC- the class at the library is an outstanding idea!!! Kudos to you. I think volunteering once in a while is a great mood booster also. What kind of class is it?
Susan- wish you were down here- we could have our own Koffee Klatch. Keep your eyes and heart open, and I am praying that God sends you a special friend your way soon.
Cheryl- have fun in the trip- hope you get some relief very soon- as a last resort get thee into a closet and have a primordial scream....that should give a couple min relief, and I bet it would make you giggle at yourself.
Leora- I can't believe that you DD is still waiting on insurance- that has been over 6mos now? She needs an advocate to call and kick bu tt! With winter bugs around the corner- she needs a solution.
Jenni- hope the afternoon apt went well. Are you a vegetarian? I noticed that you fix yourself something else to eat when Bubba has meat for dinner- just curious, I have a few great veg. recipes.
Going to see Lion King tonight- I am really looking forward to it. Took DD#3 to Kohls last night as I had a voucher for $40 that was expiring. She picked out some birthday things- went to ring it up- and she had left the voucher at home.....hmmmmm, such is life- guess I need to go back before it expires and get something I don't need.
